The Hu
Croxton, Thornbury

The Hu’s sound is all about traditional Mongolian instruments and their unique sounds. They use Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), Tovshuur (three-stringed lute), Tsuur (Mongolian flute) and Tumur Khuur (Jew’s harp). The Hu is traditional meets modern and past meets present and has put Mongolia on the map, exposing the world to a culture that remains largely an enigma.

In Melbourne for Knotfest side show The Hu played The Croxton to a sold out crowd.
