The Maine
22nd of September 2024
Forum Theatre
Supports: Felony, Joan
Forum Theatre came alive on a Sunday night with a trio of artists, inviting back The Maine once again after a year away to their awaiting fans. Supported by Felony and Joan who stirred up the crowd, it was a warm welcome back on a cool Spring night.
The Maine delivered a setlist packed with fan favorites, kicking off the night with a high-octane performance of Dose No.2. The crowd erupted in cheers as John O’Callaghan’s powerful vocals filled the Theatre. Following the energetic opener, they moved into I Must Be Dreaming, a heartfelt ballad that showcased their softer side. The set continued with the infectious Diet Soda Society, Right Girl, and fan-favourite Loved You a Little, each song leaving the audience wanting more.
The Maine’s ability to seamlessly transition between upbeat and introspective tracks is a testament to their versatility as a band, finishing with Another Night on Mars.
As we did a year ago when they were supported with Paperweight, Hot Milk, and State Champs, and now last night with Felony and Joan, we will always welcome back The Maine to the Forum Theatre and hope they return to their Melbourne fans soon.
