inovo are a four-piece Art Rock band based in Brisbane, Australia. Their emphasis on storytelling is complemented by irregular rhythms and layered tonalities, a combination which pulls the listener into a twisting multidimensional journey. With their soon to be released album ‘Desmoterion’ in 2023, inovo are well on their way in summoning a new era of sound to add to their catalogue. Behind closed doors however, when they’re not performing rituals to terraform new sonic landscapes, they can be found chuckling at memes and rarely taking themselves too seriously. We would love the room to be designed like an eccentric japanese bar, complete with erotic art and odd knick-knacks adorning the wallsA full yum-cha seafood bar, accompanied by several bain-maries overflowing with fried chicken, iced donuts and spicy noodlesA large framed photo on the wall of Rhys’ cat Zuko and Jackson’s partner’s cat Salad snugglingA luxury bathroom with one of those toilets that sprays water to clean your buttA large miniature-painting hobby table, completely stocked for a solid painting session. We cannot divulge which member requested thisA VR headset coupled with a high-end PC so we can play Beat Saber and laugh at each other flailing around like dickheadsA large TV with a selection of the newest games consoles, complete with all the raddest new gamesA Super King-sized bed so we can all nap at the same time (a bit cute, I know)A military-grade flamethrower and a room to use it in, filled with wax sculptures of all of our least favorite celebrities. Cool.And finally, a large float tank, because there’s nothing like sensory deprivation to prepare you for a sensory overload
