Good Times has announced a postponement to the new dates of July 30 & 31, 2021.While we are glad to see restrictions easing in Victoria we do not have sufficient clarity on cross border travel and quarantine requirements to ensure our Victorian-based patrons and artists can easily travel to Tocumwal on 18 & 19 June. The line-up, program and venues will all remain the same, and all donation-based tickets remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for the next 7 days for any ticket holders who cannot attend the new dates – ticket holders will be contacted directly with details. Head here for details.

Good Times Festival was created to reinvigorate community spirit in Tocumwal, which alongside several regional areas, has been hit hard due to the pandemic. The intention has always been to boost tourism and visitation to the picturesque township nestled along the Murray. Giving local businesses enough time to plan and purchase supplies was a major consideration for organisers in deciding to postpone.“Given the times we are in, we have had a backup date in place with artists, staff, suppliers and the local community from day one.

We’re confident postponing is the right decision to ensure we can bring as much tourism back to the area as possible,” said co-promoter Tara Benney. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and strongly encourage you wait a little longer for the Good Times to roll! Hold on to your tickets – every dollar raised goes back to the local community.

”Good Times is a new event for the whole family that celebrates live music, art, food, workshops and local delights of this stunning village.Good Times is brought to you by the team behind Strawberry Fields (which sold out in 60 minutes after announcing their new 2021 date).

The team are thrilled to be supporting their hometown of Tocumwal by drawing visitors from Melbourne, regional VIC and NSW to support the regional tourism recovery and bolster local businesses after a challenging year in 2020.“Council is excited to welcome back entertainment on this level to the Berrigan Shire. Strawberry Fields have a long association with Tocumwal and for them to bring Good Times event for a 2-year period shows the commitment to our area.

We look forward to the Good Times Festival and stimulating further economic activity within the Shire,” Cr Matthew Hannan said.Good Times has been made possible thanks to the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund – an Australian Government initiative. All performances will be either free or donation-based, with proceeds going to the local community groups. So come along, give what you can, and have an old fashion GOOD TIME!
