Matt Corby  has  just released his long-awaited second album Rainbow Valley to rave reviews across the board. To mark the release, tickets to Matt’s first headline tour in two years have gone on sale . The Rainbow Valley Tour heads to all capital cities and regional areas throughout March and April next year.

Selected as this week’s triple j feature albumRainbow Valley is available in CD, digital and limited-edition vinyl format’s from here.  The album includes singles ‘No Ordinary Life’‘All Fired Up’ and ‘All That I See’.

Like his debut #1 ARIA Album Telluric before it, much of the creative momentum behind his new album was born from jam sessions on his Rainbow Valley property with old friend and long-time artistic foil Alex Henriksson, who is co-writer of two songs on the record (‘Get With The Times’ and ‘Rainbow Valley’). Corby then retired to the idyllic surroundings of Byron Bay’s Music Farm studios with Telluric producer Dann Hume (Amy Shark, Client Liason) and engineer Matthew Neighbour (Avalanches, Missy Higgins). Performing all instruments and vocals on Rainbow Valley, the results speak for themselves, Corby has created an album lush, multi-textured and sparked by hints of both old soul and futuristic psychedelia.

With his London show at the iconic Forum sold out and another on sale today along with Oslo, Sweden and Amsterdam shows sold out, 2019 marks a big year for Matt and the band to then return to Australia for his own headline run.
