SCORPIONS CANCEL TONIGHT’S SYDNEY PERFORMANCE DUE TO ILLNESS
ANNOUNCE DALLAS CRANE AS REPLACEMENT

MELBOURNE, AU (Nov 10, 2018) – Rock icons Def Leppard will take to the stage tonight as scheduled to perform their landmark album, 1987’s seminal Hysteria, in full alongside other songs from their 100-million-plus selling catalogue.

However, German rock legends and special guestsSCORPIONS, will be unable to join the show tonight due to illness.

Klaus Meine, Scorpions‘ co-founder and lead singer said:

“Dear Australian Fans, believe me I have tried everything to be up on Stage tonight in Sydney … I haven‘t said a word in the last 36 Hours to rest my pipes but unfortunately my voice is not back to the power it needs to sing my heart out for you tonight. You deserve nothing less than the best Performance and I hope we have a chance to come back, to finally ‘Rock you Like a Hurricane’. Thank you for all the ‘get well soon’ messages. Thank you, Def Leppard, for your amazing support on this Tour. Love Klaus”.  Klaus

It is hoped Klaus will make a full recovery ahead of their final show scheduled for Monday at Spark Arena, Auckland.

Scorpions Meet and Greet will still go ahead as planned but without Klaus, for those who have purchased Scorpions Meet and Greet packages.

Aria Award nominated Melbourne alternative rock band Dallas Crane will be opening the show tonight in Sydney.

Further updates will be published on Live Nation’s Facebook page.

Scorpions and Live Nation apologize for any disappointment.
