Melbourne, the home of Indie music brings the exciting new release of this highly polished, seductive new tune from duo Siore. A taste of what to come the single promises for what looks like a great EP with lush sleek production and moody rich vocals.
The debut single ‘Release Me To The Sea’ is the first taste of the imminent release of their five-track EP, from the songwriting talent of Jessica Evans and Paul Siourthas.
Produced and mixed in Brisbane by ARIA nominated producer and mastering engineer Stuart Stuart, the latest work promises raw songwriting teamed with smooth production.
Formed in 2016 after a chance meeting online, SIORE’s Evans (vocals) and Siourthas (guitar) joined forces to produce their soulful, pop electronica.
After 18 months of song writing, the duo called on the expertise of Stuart Stuart, responsible for the success of Sheppard’s ‘Geronimo’,the longest stay at the top of the charts for an Australian artist since 2012. With this hit maker behind them the EP is set to be promising.
SIORE singer/songwriter Jessica Evans says the first single, ‘Release Me To The Sea’ is a tale of awakening and letting go.
“This song is about cutting ties with past pain, it’s about someone who was once central force in your life, but is no longer, “ Evans says.
“For me, it was a healing form of creative expression, of freedom and leaving a dark place for something more.”
The song has been premiered on Triple J unearthed and Soundcloud with the pending release of their EP on iTunes this month.
