Neon Queen ensured they saw out 2017 on a positive note, with the release of “Livin/Breathin” further establishing the Melbourne four-piece as one of the city’s most exciting up and coming bands. Now, with a fresh year upon them, Neon Queen aren’t resting on any laurels.
NEON QUEEN TAKE US ON A LATE NIGHT RUN THROUGH THEIR FAVORITE POST-GIG FOOD SPOTS
Usually after a gig the only places open to grab a bite are Kebab joints or Fast food joints.
Have you heard of Hungry Jacks? Well let me tell you something. Nothing goes down better than a whopper right after a show. Hungry Jacks over Maccas any day of the week.
Souvlaki King is pretty good on Brunswick St, Fitzroy. It’s really good ‘cos it’s literally a 10 second walk away from most venues on that street. Also the Greek family that owns it are lovely. They always see our dirty mugs strolling in at 5am.
Le Bon Ton in Collingwood is dope. It’s a bar that serves great burgers and chips. AND the kitchen is literally open till 5am i think. So good
China Bar is dope. But the one on Brunswick St.The honey chicken there is hella sick. Their kitchen closes at 4am.
Stalactites in the city serves up some great Souvlakis and i think they are open till 5am. You gotta love Melbourne.
