Perth’s very own ​Mornz and ​RZY are set to make a name for themselves, returning with their new single ​“40 Carats” – available on all streaming platforms ​September 27th​. The catchy and head-bopping single arrives at the perfect time as we head into the warmer months.

The release tells both rappers’ ambition in acquiring the finer things in life – a subject often covered by aspiring artists, however, ​Mornz and ​RZY have an underlying mission in launching the Perth HipHop scene to new heights. They want to encourage everyone to appreciate the craft created by homegrown artists in Australia and inspire people through their music.

“I’m able to express myself thru (sic) music better than I can with anything else. Having people relate and feeling some type of way about my music whether it be exciting, inspiring or emotional is my dream” ​- Mornz on pursuing his music career.

“I want people to feel good after listening to my music, I want whatever I say to be relatable to them in their daily lives. Basically, I just want listeners to feel lit and feel good about themselves” ​- RZY describing his music.

With an impressive catalog surpassing well over ​20 000 plays on both ​of their Spotify accounts combined, both up and coming rappers have no plans on stopping, having found inspiration from the likes of ​Chris Brown,​ ​Drake​, and ​Partynextdoor​. As well as using their versatility to experiment with new sounds, Mornz and RZY continually evolve and stays on-trend. A trait that will assist both artists on the climb to the top in the coming years.
