Kisschasy are an Australian band that formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2002. Their line-up consists of lead vocalist Darren Cordeux, bassist Joel Vanderuit, guitarist Sean Thomas and drummer Karl Ammitzboll.
I’m Daz Cordeux. I sing and play guitar for the Australian rock band Kisschasy. I’m an Aquarius and I live in Los Angeles, USA.
My Dream Rider
· A harpist – for ambience
· Flattering mirrors – to give us a boost of confidence before going out on stage
· A masseuse – I hate massages but I figure the other guys would get something out of it
· A historian for that particular town – so we can fake local knowledge between songs.
· A jaffle maker – I live in LA these days and the idea of jaffles always makes me homesick. It blows people’s minds when I tell them that back home we put tinned spaghetti in a sealed toasted sandwich.
· Hot coffee – my drug of choice these days
· A large afghan rug – it really ties any backstage room together
· Blueberries – they’re just a really great fruit
· A book of jokes – in case we break a string
· My grandma back.
Kisschasy will be playing ‘United Paper People’ in full at Good Things Festival in Melbourne (December 2nd), Sydney (December 3rd) and Brisbane (December 4th).
