In the just 15 months since her first headline tour here, Fish’s star has been on a stratospheric rise – touring worldwide, and just this month receiving a Grammy nomination for her and Dayton’s collaborative effort ‘Death Wish Blues’. The 2023 tour saw huge crowds and jaws on the floor – this visit is bound to be a repeat of that – and then some.
Probably one of the most under rated talents in the Blues scene, Samantha Fish is a phenomenal performer. Jaws hit the floor when she hits the stage.
Fish and Dayton got together via an innocent co-writing session. They envisioned a sound that married the explosive blues with alt-rock. Out of this came an EP of covers, The Stardust Sessions. Following soon thereafter was Death Wish Blues, the duo’s fully realised collaboration, which topped the Billboard Blues Chart.
