Fatboy Slim

Mt Duneed Estate, Waurn Ponds Vic.

Fatboy Slim’s Fatboy Slim Loves Australia tour stopped at Mt Duneed Estate Winery on Saturday night. The weather was ideal—cool, but comfortable with the crowd—and the venue’s natural slope meant even those at the back had a clear view of the stage. The sound was solid throughout.

The crowd was a mixed bag: young families, long-time fans from the ’90s, and a new generation discovering his music. The set was driven entirely by the music and visuals—Fatboy Slim didn’t speak, but he didn’t need to. The lighting and video displays were a highlight, featuring AI-generated celebrities and nods to pop culture that resonated with the audience. A remix of Born Slippy stood out, and he closed the night with a version of Praise You.

The energy stayed high from start to finish. Fatboy Slim knows how to structure a set, building momentum without losing the crowd. If you’re a fan, it’s worth catching him live.
