Rag n Bone Man’

The Forum

Walking onto the stage to the heralding of a trumpet, UK’s Rag n Bone man takes no time in getting down to business. The second he opens up to sing the audience is completely captivated by his baritone voice that mesmerizes.

Rising to fame with his hit single ‘ Human’, Rag n Bone Man heralds a new neo- jazz style with hip hop beats and a unique sound. But it’s that voice that stops you in your tracks, emanating across the room and filling up space.

People yell encouragement from the crowd, calling him by his given name Rory, and each time they do he flashes a cheeky grin back at them. He drinks in the admiration like it is nectar from the Gods and basks in the glow.

Playing a number of hits including ‘ Skin’ ‘ Grace’ and ‘ Iron’ he covers a good cross section of his catalogue, taking time to pause and give small introductions for several songs.  His voice delivers spine chilling renditions of all his hits, and for the more dance numbers he grooves along to the music.

Rag n Bone Man is possibly one of the most under rated performers to have come out of the UK, and his shows are nothing short of captivating. As the audience sing along to his popular hit ‘ Human’ the admiration in the room is clear. He is a force to be reckoned with, a voice that inspires and leaves you wanting more.
