The Corrs
Rochford Estate
It was a mini music festival at Rochford Estate with an all women line up of three spectacular opening acts for Irish musicians The Corrs.
Kicking the days event off was Gypsy Rose, and with the sun beating down she was a fantastic opening act to get everyone in the mood.
Charismatic Gabriella Cimli was up next, and the heat was in full force. The crowd were up and dancing to her catchy songs, singing along to “Sweet About Me”. Dressed in a long burgundy dress, the singer braved the heat and gave an enthusiastic performance.
Australia’s darling Delta Goodrem showed audiences why she is so loved, the singer all smiles for the audience. Throwing in a few covers from Cher, Tina Turner and Kate Bush’s “ Running Up That Hill”, Delta was having the time of her life on stage, entertaining the crowd. Kicking off her high heels, at one stage she jumped up on her piano to do a medley of Whitney Houston’s Dance With Somebody/ Bon Jovi / Living On A Prayer / Shania Twain / Man, I Feel Like A Woman, creating a massive sing a long with the crowd.
As the sun set over the vines it was finally time for the act everyone had been waiting for- The Corrs. The Irish sisters opening with ‘ Only When I Sleep’ to kick things off. Working their way through a set list of twenty two songs, they played a variety of tracks that showcased their successful career.
As the evening comes to a close and people make their way up the hill, the day has been an amazing day of talented women entertaining the crowd and making for a memorable event.
