ALL REMAINING SHOWS SELLING FAST
As expected, there was a rush to secure tickets to the a day on the green concerts with COLD CHISEL when they went on sale on Monday.

Fans had been urged to secure their tickets ASAP, due to overwhelming demand during the fan club and a day on the green member pre-sales.

Events at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong VIC and Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton QLD are now completely sold out. And due to overwhelming demand a second and final COLD CHISEL concert has been added at Sirromet Wines on Sunday February 9. Tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster.

A small number of tickets are still available for shows at Heifer Station Wines in Orange, Victoria’s Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley and All Saints Estate, Rutherglen – but we suggest fans act quickly as these shows are selling fast and no further a day on the green shows will be added.

Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong is a day on the green’s largest venue in Australia and with 20,000 fans set to attend this event, this will be one of the hottest shows of the summer.

Queensland fans snapped up tickets quickly during the pre-sale, resulting in a second show being announced on Sunday.

With just a handful of tickets left, we’re thrilled that music fans in Orange have embraced the launch of a day on the green at Heifer Stations Wines by rushing to buy tickets to the inaugural event there.

These results around the country reinforce a day on the green’s popularity as one of Australia’s favourite outdoor concert events.

“The demand for tickets to Cold Chisel has been incredible, but expected. It’s exciting to see these shows sell so fast,” Roundhouse Entertainment Promoter Michael Newton said. “We’re thrilled to welcome back to a day on the green one of the most iconic Australian rock bands of all time – these Chisel shows are going to be legendary!”

COLD CHISEL’s first new album in four years, Blood Moon, will be released before Christmas featuring the aptly titled new single, Getting The Band Back Together.

The band’s classic songs like Khe Sanh, Flame Trees, Bow River, My Baby, Cheap Wine, Saturday Night and You Got Nothing I Want have become the soundtrack to our lives, and the Blood Moon Tour 2020 is set to be one of summer’s hottest tours.

“We’ve only done four tours since the early ’80s so we need to make each of them count,” explains the band’s frontman, Jimmy Barnes. “We knew that if we were going to get the band back together for another full tour it would have to be something really special. We wanted great line-ups and unusual places so that people would remember these gigs for a long, long time.”

Fans are reminded to only buy tickets by following the ticket links listed below. People who choose to ignore this clear advice and who instead use search engines like Google to find tickets typically get steered to unofficial reselling sites like Viagogo that often lead to rip-offs.
