SHARE MELODIC NEW SINGLE “ALOY” OFF ABLUM OUT IN AUGUST
‘INTROSPHERE’ OUT FRIDAY AUGUST 2 VIA GREYSCALE RECORDS

Melbourne-based metal outfit Gravemind have shared their melodic new single, Aloy, off their long-awaited new album,Introsphere out Friday August 2 via Greyscale Records. Pre-orders live now!

A journey of self-discovery and redemption, Aloy is guided by the hand of unconditional importance. “The track speaks of finding a reason to heal, the transformative power of love, and the realisation of purpose through parenthood,” explains vocalist Bailey Schembri. “Each verse captures the struggles, hopes, and ultimate fulfilment that come with nurturing and witnessing the growth of a loved one.”

The music video, directed and edited by Colin Jeffs of Ten of Swords Media Collective (Diamond Construct, Make Them Suffer) is a heartwarming and dystopian exploration of growth and nurture. Watch here.

Gravemind’s latest track follows their mammoth May single F.E.A.R. which featured PolarisJamie Hails and accompanied the announcement of Gravemind’s new album ‘Introsphere’. The album gives credit to Scottie Simpson (Alpha Wolf, Polaris) on production and Jeff Dunne (Make Them Suffer, Knocked Loose) for the mix and master.

‘Introsphere’ offers cathartic release in a world suffocating under the weight of despair, and acts as a beacon of hope in the darkness. The album urges listeners to look within and to open their eyes to the world inside, asking the questions: Can you find the balance between right and wrong? Love and hate? Real or make believe?

‘Introsphere’ is Gravemind’s sophomore album release, following 2019’s critically acclaimed debut albumConduit, which left many fans and critics eagerly awaiting the follow up, which is now set to land in a matter of months.

Forming in 2015, Gravemind made a fierce impression early on with their unique hybrid blend of death metal and metalcore. Their music has remained characterised by masterful instrumental work, melancholic soundscapes, powerful vocals, word class production and clever selective use of electronic elements – complementing long-running themes of technology and dystopia.

Aloy is out now and streaming everywhere. ‘Introsphere’ will be available Friday August 2 via Greyscale Records.
