Global guitar sensation and multiple ARIA Award winner John Butler is proud to be part of the HERE in Nowra Festival. Featuring in a very special one-off concert, he will perform his new ambient album Running River in full on Thursday October 24th at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.

The show will include an intimate, Q&A and the evening will conclude with a performance of his instrumental masterpiece, “Ocean.” This will be the only opportunity in the world to see the new album performed in full, taking the audience on a journey of deep relaxation, meditation and incredible musicianship. Running River is the first musical offering of John since 2018’s number 1 ARIA-Charting record HOME. It is an ambient journey of relaxation and meditation, offering a whole different side to Butler – a journey of healing. It is a soundtrack and prayer for a more peaceful 2024 and the perfect accompaniment for each individual listener’s personal journey. Butler will follow up the release of Running River with an instrumental album in late 2024, followed by a solo album in 2025.
