Melbourne-based psych outfit The Baudelaires are set to release their sophomore album TiLT on Friday, September 2, 2022. Recorded in Venice, Italy and in their hometown of Melbourne, TiLT is set to be released through Cheersquad in Australia/New Zealand, Kozmik Artifactz in Europe and Little Cloud Records in the US.

The album is available for pre-order now on limited edition, marbled orange vinyl and also on black vinyl, CD and digitally. All vinyl comes with a digital download card.

The second single from the album, “Roller Vaseline”, is out today.

Baudelaires’ frontman Grischa Zahren-Bergner had this to say about the track:
“For this song, we tried to write one that sounded like one of our favourite bands and pals, the New Candys. After our tour with them, we got a nice healthy dose of what it might take to roll as well as they do. It came out much different than we intended, especially the Hawaiian-esque bridge we wrote in inspiration of Fernando nailing his first ever surf at Bermagui beach. We were lucky enough to be able to record this one in their studio in Venice by our chief muse and stimulator Andrea ‘Fox’ Volpato at his Fox Studio home. It sounds like a song made on a Venetian diet of pizzas and aperol spritzes over the very fun days we stayed and played there.”
