VOIID just wrapped up their ‘Lexapro’ east coast single tour, had a couple of days off, and now present And So Two’ the blistering second single off their forthcoming debut LP, due early 2023. ‘And So Two’ tells the story of VOIID’s inception, the days they got lost in that blissful purity of life at that fresh time of starting a new band, the ignorance of their own ignorance. Wading through the challenges that come with youth and the efforts to escape the ideals of their hometowns. And the importance of each individual person and what they bring to the band.

“This song also acknowledges how much we are a family; without anyone one of us it wouldn’t be the same, and we wouldn’t be where we are without each other,” says Kate. ‘And So Two’ follows ‘Lexapro’ their first new release since their 2020 EP ‘Socioanomaly’, 2019’s EP ‘Drool’ and 2016’s with their debut EP ‘Pusy Orientated’.

Their scorching live shows take no prisoners and has seen them share stages with the likes of Grinspoon, Amyl & The Sniffers, Clowns, Cosmic Psychos, DZ Deathrays, WAAX and more.

Anji Greenwood (vocals) and Kate McGuire (guitar, vocals) are teenage friends from Queensland’s Central Coast who moved to Brisbane and started the band with Mina Cannon (drums) and Antonia Hickey (bass). VOIID is their energetic power tool to amplify their frustration with the world and that of those who feel their voice is overlooked. ‘And So Two’ is out digitally on November 25 via Damaged Records.
