Forming in 1999, Swedish Metal Band Sabaton broke into the metal scene with their passion for writing music heavily themed in historical events. Since their inception they have become one of the biggest names in Nordic metal, playing to arenas all over the world. Their unique sound has captivated audiences all over the world and now for the first time they bring their electric performance to the big screen for an unforgettable experience.
The Sabaton – The Tour To End All Tours concert film was recorded at the sold-out Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, where 16,000 fans gathered to watch the band during their 2023 European tour.
As the film opens we get an intimate introduction from each member of the band describing how it feels to perform live. The nerves, the atmosphere, the rituals.
From there it’s straight into the performance, kicking off with ‘ Ghost Division’ the viewer is placed right in the middle of the action. Feeling like you are there in the pit, sweating it out alongside fellow metal fans.
If that wasn’t enough to sate your appetite, the cameras take you in for a close up view of guitars, getting you closer to the action for songs ‘ Bismarck’ and ‘ The Last Stand’. You really do get all angles and are treated to views you never would normally witness at an actual performance, so it’s a rare privilege.
The production is perfection for this offering from the Swedish metal greats, and all throughout the performance the band are unified and the performance is exceptionally impressive to watch. The heat of the pyro practically burning your face, the atmosphere electric and the scream of fans all make viewing this feel like a complete immersive experience.

Lead singer Joakim Brodén gives a stellar performance, his distinctive vocals growling at viewers, he is in complete control and clearly at home on the stage.
As ‘ Christmas Truce’ plays, snow falls and phone lights illuminate the theatre creating a truly magical experience to witness, as the camera pans out across the arena it captures the atmosphere, allowing viewers to become part of the show.
