With a strong passion for collabs and using her relationships built across the 100s of shows she’s played + a series of music camps to connect with like-minded artists, Alice Ivy has created a huge library of music, that she believes is her “most mature work to date! One standout was with Detroit icon-in-waiting Flint Eastwood, where they met during a trip to Australia and then again at SXSW where ‘Close To You’  was born during a session at Assemble Sound, a historic 1872 church-turned-recording studio.Â
Top 5 Songs To Get Close To! with Alice Ivy
‘Lemon Glow’ – Beach House.

I slept on this band for way too long, this is definitely a song you need to get close to, maybe even hold someone and slow dance.
‘My Song’ – Labi Siffre

A good friend of mine showed me this when we were driving home super late the other night from a show. Just listen to it and you’ll know what I mean.Â
‘Ready To Make A Move’ – Riton & Kahlo

These guys make heaps of party bangers, but this song is my favourite off their recent mixtape. I love the sophisticated melody, you think it’s gonna go a certain way in the verses but it goes the other. Get real close to this one.Â
‘Mile High’ – James Blake

This is soo cushy, I reckon James’s Blake’s latest record is worth getting close to, it’s so from start to finish but ‘Mile High’ is a standout moment for sure.Â
Chasin’ – Cub SportÂ

I love Cub Sport soo much. I always catch myself accidentally singing this song. It just get’s stuck in your head. I’m sure you’ll agree. Â
