| Expanding on Dis(re)member, vocalist Tyler Washington states: “Dis(re)member is about leaving behind the person you were in the past. It doesn’t matter if it was a good or bad version of you. You’re simply not letting this person influence your current decisions and how you do things. The song fell together naturally and really showed where we’re at.”
Formed in 2020, Excide stirred up buzz with the release of Two of a Kind and Actualize / Radiation Reel, followed by their 2022 full-length debut, Deliberate Revolver (New Morality Zine), which earned critical acclaim from Revolver, Stereogum, and No Echo. The band embraces a wide sonic palette, channeling formative influences like Snapcase and Quicksand, with elements of post-grunge and alternative rock that nod to Helmet and Foo Fighters. Their versatility has allowed them to tour and share the stage with a wide range of acts including Poison The Well, Dying Wish, Evergreen Terrace, Spaced, and Broken Vow. The band will hit the road in the April alongside Sign Language and Bleak.
