Multi platinum-selling, GRAMMY Award-nominated artist Tove Lo will play solo shows as part of her visit to Australia for Listen Out.

“I’m so ready to finally come back and play Australia,” Tove Lo says. “I’m excited to share my new tunes and new moves. Get ready for an emotional dance party!”

Tove Lo’s new album ‘Dirt Femme’ will be released following her visit to our shores, on 14 October. It’s peppered with an impressive line-up of guests including SG Lewis, Channel Tres and First Aid Kit, and features already-released tracks ‘No One Dies From Love’, ‘True Romance’, and ‘2 Die 4’. Also featured is ‘How Long’, from the season two soundtrack of ‘Euphoria’.

“’Dirt Femme’ is about me and my relationship with my femininity. When I started out as a writer and an artist I used to view my feminine traits as weaker and would enhance my masculine traits to get ahead in life,” Tove Lo explains.

“I feel a big energy shift in my environment since then and this album reflects the various ways my feminine side has both helped and hurt me. I am a pansexual woman married to a straight man. I believe masculine and feminine lives on a spectrum in all humans. There’s so many more interesting nuances than most people wanna accept.”

Tickets for the solo shows go on sale 22 August at 9am.
