1 Barbes

“Live music venue & nightclub, with bar and courtyard. A new destination for original live music, DJs and touring artists.” I always have the best time here, the array of inclusive events makes it one of the most trendy nightclubs in Perth.

2 Connections

“Lively, stylish gay and lesbian nightspot with DJs and drag queen shows, plus a rooftop terrace.” The go-to spot in Perth if you like late nights. I have fond memories of finishing work at The Rosemount on a Wednesday and beelining it straight to “Connies”.

3 U&I cafe

“Vietnamese dishes, desserts & cocktails offered in a down-to-earth destination with a terrace.” Great place with very decent food, I love the standard pad thai they serve! Also you can keep drinking the cocktails 24/7.

4 Moon Cafe

“Retro diner-style venue for live bands, jazz and poetry, plus beer on tap, burgers and pizza.” I love this place, a lot of great memories from playing intimate gigs in the back section (one of the best riders in Perth too!) – also the chili con carne is to die for when you can barely stand!

5 McDonalds North Perth

The Collective meeting point of all the residents of North Perth after a night out. I’m a return customer every weekend, they know me by name and my order: “chicken & cheese with an OJ for Johnny!”.

Potent Perth collective Mal de Mer have today released a brand new single Mirage, a slinky, funked-up fantasy that’ll tap shoes far and wide. Alongside the bustling frivolity of the new tune, Mal de Mer have also announced an accompanying video for Mirage, with both the song and video marking the final alluring glimpse into the group’s brand new EP Sanguine which will officially drop on July 8
