SLEEPLESS EMPIRE AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2026

Australia, prepare yourselves to Trip the Darkness and embrace the heavy intensity of Italian gothic metal titans LACUNA COIL who today announce their highly-anticipated return to Australia in 2026, with the Sleepless Empire Australian Tour next February also marking the band’s first down under headline tour in a decade.

Commencing on Thursday 12 February in Brisbane, LACUNA COIL will weave their way through Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, before closing out on Thursday 19 February in Perth.

Armed with a formidable reputation for their shape-shifting take on gothic hues, melodic sorcery and seething ferocity, LACUNA COIL are that rare breed of band who can capture the zeitgeist while balancing gripping authenticity, and their ambitious live show finds them bigger and bolder than ever before.

With over two million album sales worldwide alongside enthralling a dedicated legion of global fans for decades, LACUNA COIL most recently unveiled a brand new album, releasing Sleepless Empire earlier this year. Channeling more experimental territory, Sleepless Empire was praised by KERRANG! upon release, noting “…these are Lacuna songs through and through…and its lingering notes of darkness just make you want to play the whole thing again”, with the album also gifting brand new fan-favourites like Never DawnI Wish You Were Dead and Hosting the Shadow featuring Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe.

A force to be reckoned with both off and on stage, whether roaring out into a festival crowd or captivating in a headline capacity, LACUNA COIL have previously shared stages with the likes of Gojira, Machine Head and In Flames. And few will forget the group’s most recent Australian visit, with LACUNA COIL dubbed “one of the sets of the day” by Music Feeds for their Good Things Festival appearances in 2022, with their show-stopping performances also heavily praised supporting Gojira’s Australian headline shows alongside the festival.

Next February, prepare for high octane nights soaked in theatricality and blistering dexterity, with LACUNA COIL guaranteed to leave you spellbound when they hit our shores once more.

BLEED FROM WITHIN
ANNOUNCE EXCLUSIVE HEADLINE SIDESHOW
For one night only this October, Scottish metal overlords BLEED FROM WITHIN will unleash their might at an exclusive headline sideshow in Melbourne. Locked in to support The Ghost Inside nationally next month, Melbourne fans can now also catch BLEED FROM WITHIN for an incredible one-off experience, with the group today announcing a headline show at Stay Gold on Wednesday 22 October.

Hailing from Glasgow, BLEED FROM WITHIN have spent the past two decades evolving their ravenous sound, pivoting from their earlier deathcore leanings into a gripping take on the metalcore realms, blending muscular riffs, hypnotic grooves, monstrous breakdowns and towering melodies.

Releasing their debut album Humanity in 2009, BLEED FROM WITHIN have gone on to unleash seven studio albums, most recently releasing Zenith earlier this year that saw them leap into UK and European charts, and also garner praise from KERRANG! for their “ear-gouging vocals and stomach churning grooves” while Metal Hammer declared the band as “one of the UK’s most vital and consistent metal bands”.

In striking homage to their motherland, BLEED FROM WITHIN are as infamous for incorporating bagpipes into their beautiful sonic menace as they are for their magnetic stage presence that has seen them tour alongside the likes of Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium, and also command the main stage at the UK’s Download Festival in 2024.

With five mammoth shows already slated alongside The Ghost Inside next month, this is your chance to add even more metalcore mayhem into the mix, BLEED FROM WITHIN-style. Don’t miss this exclusive Australian headline sideshow, tickets absolutely won’t last long!

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA — Mike Hranica (vocals), Jeremy DePoyster (guitar, clean vocals), Kyle Sipress (guitar), Jonathan Gering (keys, synths, programming, percussion), and Giuseppe Capolupo (drums) — will unleash their ninth album Flowers on November 14 via Solid State Records. Now, they’ve share the video for Eyes.

The video finds Prada as puppets navigating a maze. Watch and find out where the puppet master pulling the strings leads them.

Stream Eyes here and watch the music video here:
“Eyes is about coming to a point in life where you start to question the reality of what you once believed,” states Gering. “It captures the feeling of wanting to break away from something that has only worked against you and the struggle to find a new way to move forward.”

DePoyster weighs in, saying, “Eyes is a song about desperately yearning for answers, wondering why you keep ending up in the same place without a clear path forward. When you’re caught in a wave of anxiety and the things you’ve been taught are of little help, you’re desperate for clarity and hope.”

He finishes, “Sonically, this song is a journey, contrasting between tight melodic verses and fuzzed out riffs. It’s an anthem for when you need the validation that no one has the answers. We’re all just doing our best.”

Flowers marks the start of an incredibly epic cycle and phase for the band. The global touring scheduling finds The Devil Wears Prada playing some of the biggest shows of their career. They just wrapped the Summer of Loud tour, which packed amphitheaters through the summer. Additionally, the single For You is the band’s first-ever track to chart on both the Mediabase and Billboard Active Rock charts. TDWP are continuing to hit new milestones two decades into their career, proving their vitality as a career band.

TDWP have a slew of upcoming tour dates on deck, including dates in Australia with Bullet For My Valentine this month; headline shows in South Africa; and a trek across Europe with Ice Nine Kills and Creeper. The band will also appear at Warped Tour in Orlando on November 15-16, and will also embark on the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise in January, as well.

About The Devil Wears Prada:
The Devil Wears Prada have always explored life’s extremes in their music. They’ve never shied away from staring down darkness, dealing with depression, making sense of confusion, soothing anxiety, or grappling with faith, existence, and death. At the same time, they’ve mirrored life’s ups and downs by alternating between crushing heaviness and heart-wrenching melodies. After over two decades of making music, their union as bandmates—but more importantly as friends—is stronger than ever. All of this time and experience ultimately empowered the group to make a statement on their ninth full-length offering, Flowers (Solid State). Matching bold themes with equally bold songs, they process grief, weather struggle, and not only heal together, but creatively blossom like never before. The Devil Wears Prada have always been there for audiences. Among a string of seminal releases, Revolver readers named With Roots Above and Branches Below (2009) one of the “5 Greatest Metalcore Albums,” the Zombie EP (2010) and Dead Throne (2011) each debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, and 2021’s ZII marked their sixth straight Top 5 entry on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart.  They have also tallied nearly a half-a-billion streams —unprecedented for most acts this heavy. The group elevated to another stratosphere with Color Decay (2022), selling out their biggest shows worldwide and receiving some of the highest praise of its career.

During 2024, the musicians decamped to a VRBO in Rodgers, Arkansas for three weeks where they constructed the foundation for the LP, with Jon again at the helm as producer. Following their time “in this heavenly corner of Arkansas,” Jon, Jeremy, and Mike took a handful of trips to Los Angeles. Putting the finishing touches on recording, the guys collaborated with Tyler Smyth (I Prevail, Falling In Reverse), Austin Coupe (Lø Spirit, Moodring), Colin Brittain (Linkin Park, Papa Roach), Fit For A King‘s Bobby Lynge, and Marshall Gallagher of Teenage Wrist. They also enlisted Color Decay collaborator Sam Guaiana as an engineer and tapped Zakk Cervini [Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox] for mixing and mastering.

20 years deep into their career together, their creativity has surged to life on Flowers, representing perhaps their most significant creative leap forward yet.

Secret Sounds is thrilled to announce that American singer-songwriter Noah Cyrus will return to Australian shores this November, celebrating her newest album I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME.

The East Coast run of headline shows will open onThursday 20 November at Melbourne‘s Palais Theatre, before heading to the Roundhouse in Sydney on Sunday 23 November and Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on Monday 24 November. Noah Cyrus will also perform at Changing Tides Festival in Kiama on Saturday 22 November.

Co-produced with Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME is rooted in Americana, indie folk and country music. It’s a moody, dynamic album that mixes whispered vocals with full-throated declarations, all tied together by pedal steel, banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, cellos and acoustic guitars framing Noah’s smoky yet supple voice.

Noah pays homage to her family throughout the record. “Apple Tree” features her late grandfather Ron Cyrus reciting a hymn written by her great-grandfather Eldon Lindsey Cyrus, which inspired the album’s title. She records “Don’t Put It All On Me”, written by her brother Braison, as a collaboration with Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes. She also brings to life “With You”, the very first song her father Billy Ray Cyrus ever wrote. The album also includes collaborations with Blake Shelton on “New Country” and Ella Langley on “Way of the World”.

Speaking about the record, Noah says: “I want this album to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia. That’s something I feel so heavily when I listen to music. We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this collection of songs was made with that in mind.”

On stage, Noah transforms her raw, heartfelt songs into a powerful live experience, creating a space that feels both deeply personal and electric. She’s toured extensively, supported the likes of Justin Bieber and played festival sets at OUTLOUD, Stagecoach and Coachella to name a few. Don’t miss your chance to experience Noah Cyrus live in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this November! CHUCK SICS ANNOUNCES DEBUT EP ‘SLIPSTREAM’

Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist Chuck Sics has unveiled his long-awaited debut EP Slipstream – a five-track journey through dread, self-analysis, sleeplessness and reflection.

Entirely self-produced and mixed, with every instrument performed by Chuck himself, Slipstream is a whimsical yet hard-hitting outing that fuses alt-pop-rock production with pensive and occasionally cynical lyricism.

From the psychedelic warmth of opening track Redo, to Britpop-tinged grooves on M.A.D, buoyant melodies in the title track and the hazy, contemplative close, the EP showcases Chuck’s versatility and emotional depth in full.

Five years in the making, Slipstream marks the arrival of an artist unafraid to explore both light and shadow in his music.

“I don’t think of myself as a reliable narrator, even of my own emotions,” Chuck shares. “There’s a healthy amount of self-doubt in this record – and for me, that often turns into dread.”

With Slipstream, Chuck Sics steps into the spotlight as one of Australia’s most intriguing new voices in indie-pop.

Slipstream is out now.

EMELINE SHARES PROPULSIVE NEW SINGLE + VIDEO ‘EMOTIONAL VIRGIN’

A propulsive, vulnerable and sharply modern (yet classic) love song, today Los Angeles-via-Rhode Island artist, songwriter and producer EMELINEunveils Emotional Virgin, forging a glossy and sonically vibrant aesthetic into both the anthemic track and its evocative accompanying music video, with the Emotional Virgin also marking her first ever ode to love.

Buoyed by lush instrumentals and driving beats, Emotional Virgin dazzles alongside EMELINE’s crystalline vocals, nodding to stylistic hues of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Prince, while also intimately capturing the blissful innocence and excitement of falling in love for the first time.A lot of my legacy as an artist has been about my past and liberating myself from the pain I’ve been through,” shares EMELINE. “With this song, I am feeling real love for the first time. I am feeling just like a kid with a crush, shocked with the way someone is looking at me with such sweetness in their eyes. Being an “emotional” virgin is about feeling real love for the first time, and I’m really happy to share with my fans that I’ve gotten there. I hope you love my very first love song.”

Working alongside producer Peter Thomas, EMELINE co-wrote Emotional Virgin with Peter as well as Sarah “Solly” Solovay and Sean Kennedy, with mixing by Victor Verpillat, and mastering by Dale Becker and Katie Harvey. And devising the accompanying music video’s concept and creative direction entirely herself, spurred by some sharp visual ideas from day one, EMELINE teamed up with Paige Strabala who co-directed and co-edited the vibrant and ultimately transcendent clip. “Paige is such an incredible creative who puts her all into the art she makes,” says EMELINE.“It’s beautiful when everyone involved cares the same amount, you can make anything happen.”

“I have a super visual mind and pictured the colors/visuals as I wrote the song,” EMELINE adds. “I wanted to bring a camp-y feeling 80’s pop-star blowing in the wind mixed with a bit of rocky horror. I have a “hands on me” theme with my project and a classic black and red color theme. I wanted to express the vulnerability that it feels to have a crush. It feels other worldly, like you’re in your own dimension.  I wanted to express be the pop-star version of what my heart feels like when I’m truly falling for someone.”

With nearly 1 billion global streams under her belt, sold-out shows centred around female empowerment and a legion of fans around the world, EMELINE has rapidly become one of the most provocative and powerful new voices in pop. An entirely hands-on creative, writing, producing and directing every aspect of her artistic universe, EMELINE has become renowned for her spellbinding vocals and fearless, feminist perspective, first turning heads via her 2017 performance at the Women’s March. Since then, her strident yet insightful output, cinematic music videos and burgeoning social media presence has continued to flourish, leading to the release of her debut 2025 EP, the devil on my bra strap, which released in May this year to widespread acclaim. Ticking off major editorial support, a coveted co-sign from Elton John on Apple Music’s ‘Rocket Hour’, and securing a spot as a featured artist for YouTube Music PRIDE, EMELINE has also previously had her music featured in hit series on Apple TV and Netflix, received airplay on domestic and international radio, and achieved RIAA Gold certification.

A pop powerhouse in every sense of the word, equal parts bold, blunt, ethereal and proudly feminine, EMELINE’s creative reach also extends well into to Australia, and continually treats her fans worldwide to ongoing creative Easter eggs and pure passion poured into every facet of her work.

“I am a deep feeler and a deep thinker,” EMELINE reveals. “I love putting my all into my work and attracting intellectual fans who can obsess over little details and lyrics the way that I do for the art that I love and consume. Being an artist was never a choice for me, I’ve been one since before I could remember. I feel really lucky that I’ve always known my purpose. And I’ve been able to grow that love into something bigger than I could’ve imagined… healing myself and others.”

“I also think Australia is full of tastemakers,” EMELINE adds, “and I cannot wait to tour there one day soon.”

Recently releasing the single PORN STAR, and with a follow up debut album slated for release in 2026, EMELINE continues to wow with her sound, embracing the glamour and drama of ABBA, Queen and Madonna with a raw, modern-day honesty. But before the arrival of her forthcoming album, fans can devour EMELINE’s latest sonic charmer, Emotional Virgin.

“It feels cathartic to be releasing Emotional Virgin,” shares EMELINE. “This project has been close to my chest for a long time and I got to make it with such a tight knit crew. I am more than ready to jump into this new era and my debut album head first.”

Emotional Virgin is out today.

Aussie summer in 2026 is about to get a whole lot hotter with Sydney metalcore heavyweights POLARIS today announcing their first-ever curated summer event LIFE’S A BEACH, with this unprecedented experience set to take place on Saturday 14 February at the Riviera Beach Club in St Kilda, joined by a stacked array of local and international talent.

Renowned for playing host to some of Melbourne’s most in-demand DJ and electronic live music events, the Riviera Beach Club has become the city’s secret summer party venue. But next February, LIFE’S A BEACH is primed to transform the site into a one-day-only heavy music takeover, ultimately offering fans a unique experience unlike anything they’ve ever witnessed before.

Headlined and curated by POLARIS, also marking the final live celebration of their acclaimed 2023 album Fatalism leading into a brand new chapter, LIFE’S A BEACH will feature some of Australia’s most exciting up-and-coming artists alongside some international icons including WE CAME AS ROMANS (USA), THY ART IS MURDEROCEAN SLEEPER, CASKETS (UK), TERMINAL SLEEP, RELIQA and HEADWRECK.

“Putting together an outdoor fest that we can call our own has been a little pipe-dream of ours for a while now – and this coming summer felt like the perfect time to dip our toes in, so to speak! We’ve hand-picked a killer mix of old friends from abroad and at home, some familiar favourites and some of the best up-and-coming local talent. We’re so psyched to have the chance to create a new experience for our fans in such a unique and beautiful location. We can’t wait to have a mosh as the sun goes down, and most likely throw ourselves into the waves as soon as we walk off stage! Life’s a beach baby, don’t forget it!” – Daniel Furnari, Polaris

One of Australia’s most meteoric heavy acts, POLARIS first established their enduring melodic brutality via their first two albums, 2020’s ARIA Award-nominated The Death Of Me and 2017’s The Mortal Coil, which debuted in the Australian Top 10. But it was in 2023 that POLARIS fearlessly emerged into legendary status with the release of their third studio album Fatalism. Debuting at #1 on the ARIA Charts, gaining nominations for Australian Album of the Year at the 2023 J Awards and for the 2023 Australian Music Prize, Fatalism balanced raw angst and underlying catharsis alongside the group’s signature mix of melodic metalcore, lush post rock, electronic hues and beyond.

Following the release of FatalismPOLARIS have relentlessly gone from strength to strength, with monumental capital city and regional tours largely sold out, through to multiple international headline runs and festival slots, including in North America, Europe and the UK, supporting Bring Me The Horizon and Slipknot overseas, and igniting the main stage at Knotfest Australia earlier this year. And continuing on the live front, capturing their biggest headline show to date back in 2023 at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, POLARIS have also just unveiled a mini documentary, FOREVER, forever immortalising not only their insatiable energy and songs from Fatalism onstage for a home crowd, but also their first hometown show surrounded by their nearest and dearest following the tragic loss of Ryan Siew. Watch FOREVER here.

While 2026 for POLARIS is already filling up with performances at Froth & Fury Festival and at the inaugural Hellbound Cruise, the new year will also offer up a special and first-of-its-kind milestone in the form of LIFE’S A BEACH.

A band continually at the forefront of heavy music and culture, WE CAME AS ROMANS seamlessly merge grooves, catharsis, ethereal electronics and arena-ready anthems into a sound that defies genre-confines. Emerging out of Michigan in 2005, the band have chalked up ongoing chart success, millions of streams and performances alongside the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, I Prevail, The Used, Sleeping With Sirens, Parkway Drive and many more. Traversing tragedy and tenacity along the way, WCAR returned with gusto in 2025 with the recent release of their seventh studio album All Is Beautiful…Because We’re Doomed, with Kerrang! declaring “they’ve returned to wreck your speakers and vocal cords…[the album] stands as a monolithic metalcore moment.”

A crushing and all-encompassing heavy force to be reckoned with, THY ART IS MURDER‘s trajectory ascending to extreme metal’s top tier has been seamlessly soundtracked by the group’s savage blackened metal sturdily forged with thought-provoking commentary. From their 2010 debut album, The Adversary, through to 2023’s GodlikeTHY ART IS MURDER have whipped heads, ears and charts into a frenzy, with the group equally commanding stages whether as headliners or alongside heavy icons including Slayer, Parkway Drive and Fear Factory.

Exploding out of Gippsland, modern metalcore rising stars OCEAN SLEEPER announced themselves to the world via their 2017 debut EP Six Feet Down and have never looked back. Between performing with Killswitch Engage, In Hearts Wake and While She Sleeps, or onstage at Good Things Festival and UNIFY Gathering, OCEAN SLEEPER are the voice of the underdogs, continually pushing sonic boundaries and connecting deeply with fans in the process. And returning to our shores in 2026, Leeds post hardcore quartet CASKETS are well-versed in heavy alchemy, mixing lush post hardcore, modern metallic power and electronic edges that is equal parts towering, raw and, as seen most recently on their recent 2025 album The Only Heaven You’ll Know, larger than life in all the right ways.

Melbourne-based hardcore act TERMINAL SLEEP have wasted no time perfecting their sound since first emerging in 2022, with their chaotic and cathartic tendencies leading them to signing with Nuclear Blast Records earlier this year, as well as previous tours with everyone from Kublai Khan TX through to SPEED and many more. Meanwhile, taking progressive metalcore to dazzling new heights, Sydney’s RELIQA have won over a legion of fans at home and abroad, with their world-class releases and performances leading them to performing with the likes of Spirtbox, BABYMETAL and Halestorm, and showcasing their sonic diversity and ingenuity via their debut 2024 album Secrets of the Future. Since 2021, Brisbane’s HEADWRECK have steadily grown their trademark glitch-heavy sound, with soaring choruses and low-tuned guitars firmly on the menu, witnessed most recently via their 2024 chaotic track Buzzsaw as well as at unforgettable live outings over the years with We Came As Romans, Paledusk and ERRA.

In 2026, LIFE’S A BEACH is set to take heavy music into brand new waters under the warm summer sun, stepping away from the standard touring venues and stages to create something truly unique.

Offering a diverse and potent lineup, boasting non-stop heaviness against the backdrop of Melbourne’s beachside summer vibes, LIFE’S A BEACH is a carefully curated experience that will also offer fans a chance to see POLARIS in a setting never witnessed before. Clear your calendar next February 14 and prepare to witness a brand new cultural landmark for both the heavy scene and Melbourne’s live music calendar.
