Laura Ingram lit up the Bergy Bandroom on December 11 with a set that felt more like a full-blown party than a mid-week gig. Laura opened with Hearts Like Lightning, starting the night with an absolute bang. The moment the first chorus hit, the room erupted, people clapping in time, and immediately feeding off Laura’s energy. It was the perfect way to set the tone for a night that never once dipped.
From there, Laura kept the momentum rolling with a mix of crowd favourites and newer tracks. A standout moment came when Laura played her newest single, Not Another Fool. Even though the song is still fresh, the crowd treated it like an anthem they’d been singing for years. Phones were in the air, people swayed and shouted the parts they knew, and Laura looked completely at ease commanding the room.
The most wholesome moment of the night came when Laura paused the set to sing happy birthday to her brother, who had just turned 30. The whole crowd joined in, turning it into a big, rowdy celebration that added to the warmth of the night.
One of the most memorable moments came when Laura kicked off a spontaneous line-dancing section. Suddenly half the room was shuffling, spinning, and sliding around in whatever space they could find. It was chaotic, funny, and completely infectious, the kind of moment you can’t plan but everyone remembers.
Between songs, Laura kept things personal and warm, chatting with the crowd like old mates and building a sense of connection that lasted right to the final note.
By the end of the night, the room was buzzing, sweaty, smiling, and fully wrapped up in Laura’s charm. It was a brilliant reminder of why intimate venues matter, they let artists like Laura turn a gig into a truly shared moment.
