MELBOURNE, AU (July 7, 2025) – After two years away from the spotlight, global superstar Lewis Capaldi is well and truly, back. Back in the charts with his huge new single Survive, back in the headlines after his surprise and magnificent return to Glastonbury Festival and, this November and December, back on tour in Australia and New Zealand across Christchurch, Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth presented by Secret Sounds, Live Nation and WME.

For people who purchased tickets to Lewis’s previously cancelled 2023 tour, a Past Ticket Holders Presale will go live on Thursday 10 July, 11am (local) until Monday 14 July, 11am(local). Those customers will receive an email from Secret Sounds with presale access information.

These dates will be the first time Lewis has returned to Australasia since Falls Festival in 2019/20, and his Auckland Town Hall performance in 2019. His new track Survive sees him reunited with close collaborator Romans, who co-wrote his global megahit Someone You Loved, that extraordinarily turned 10x Platinum earlier this year.

On Friday 27th June, a headliner-sized Pyramid Stage crowd at Glastonbury Festival embraced the emotion of Lewis’s emergence into the sunshine for a powerful, hit-laden half-hour. “Second time’s a charm on this one,” said Lewis. “I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time.”That he emphatically did, with his soaring vocals leading the crowd through classics Before You Go, Grace, Hold Me While You Wait, Bruises, Forget Me, a first live showing of Survive, and a unifying performance of Someone You Loved. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Lewis’s performance at Glastonbury arrived off the back of a run of Scottish warm up shows in May that saw him return to the stage as a guest of mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. With no pressure, and no level of expectation, the shows allowed Capaldi the space to gauge his comfort and emotional response before returning to the spotlight – a move which ended up proving nothing short of a triumph.

Lewis’ last release, the hit-stacked record Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, scored him his second UK number 1 album, creating another three heartbreaking UK number 1 singles, Pointless, Wish You The Best and the Platinum-certified Forget Me working with hitmakers including Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd), Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean), and longtime collaborator Phil Plested (James Bay, Bastille).

The album also gained widespread critical acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, New York Times, NME, Rolling Stone, GQ, Stereogum & many more. It also topped airplay charts, smashing an impressive 95,000 units, outselling the rest of that week’s Top 10 combined, as well as outselling first week sales of his own monumental debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

April 2023 saw the global Netflix release of Lewis’ compelling, raw and honest feature-length, GRAMMY®-nominated music documentary ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now’ – available to watch on the platform now. The documentary shot straight to the top of the Netflix chart, making it the most watched film on the platform since its release.

Lewis’ subsequent success stems back to 2019’s multimillion selling debut Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which propelled Capaldi from bedroom musician to superstar. NEWS: JEBEDIAH ANNOUNCE THIRTY ODYEARS TOUR CELEBRATING 30 YEARS AS A BAND, WITH FIRST EVER VINYL REISSUES AND NATIONAL TOUR FOR OCTOBER + NOVEMBER

How does one fittingly celebrate three decades, zero lineup changes, six studio albums and a legacy for authenticity and colossal acclaim? For beloved Australian rockers Jebediah, their 30th anniversary celebrations in 2025 are set to be as epic as the past 30 years, today announcing a special run of headline shows this October and November, as well as the reissue of some of their most iconic albums on vinyl.

Set to celebrate a sensational snapshot of their three decades as a band, Jebediah’s THIRTY ODYEARS Tour will commence on Thursday 16 October in Adelaide, before heading to Hobart, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra, and closing out with two special hometown shows in Perth on Friday 31 October and Saturday 21 November.

“It feels surprisingly not that old, despite the fact we are all well into our middle ages now,” shares leader singer Kevin Mitchell. “Being in this band is like stepping in and out of a time capsule. It doesn’t matter how many years go by, every time we are on stage, or in the studio, or rehearsal room or just hanging out together, it’s somehow 1995 again, you know? Obviously, our lives have changed immensely but when you are around lifelong friends I think there is a part of you that stays the age of your youth. You still relate to each other the same way you did as teenagers. I’m sure anyone who catches up with old school friends would have experienced this a bit. So that’s how it feels. It’s not always easy but it’s also a gift.”

A fitting addition to their milestone year in 2025, Jebediah fans will also be able to get their hands on a range of the group’s classic back catalogue on translucent vinyl, with some special reissues ‘The Murmur Years’ via Sony Music, and also some albums primed for their first ever vinyl pressing – Jebediah history in the making!

“The new vinyl releases will have awesome new artwork and some of them will be getting their very first vinyl release ever, so that’s exciting,” reveals Mitchell. “I’m also really excited about the digital re-releases as we have found lots of old demo recordings that no one has ever heard before and B-sides that have never been digitally released so they are going to be really cool collections of material that hopefully long-time fans will enjoy. That is one of the redeeming features of digital music and streaming and stuff, is that it is very easy to put that kind of stuff out

for people to hear. It’s really for us and the hard-core fans to enjoy, a place for all this archival stuff to sit publicly.”

Emerging back in 1995 decked out with shorts, sneakers and blue hair, Jebediah exploded into view with singles like Jerks of Attention, Leaving Home, Teflon, Harpoon and Animal, soundtracking countless summers, car stereos and festivals with their trademark infectious pop hooks and rowdy riffs that have only gotten bigger and better over the years. With multiple ARIA Award nominations, several Western Australian Music Industry Award wins under their belts, including being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2023, millions of streams, two Platinum-certified albums, as well as tours in their wake with everyone from The Smashing Pumpkins through to Powderfinger, You Am I, Jimmy Eat World and countless others, it’s an understatement to declare Jebediah as national Australian music heroes. But for the band, their ongoing longevity ultimately boils down to a key fact that transcends fame and fortune. “For us I believe it’s mostly got to do with the fact that we were already friends before the band started and did it as a fun way to hang out, maybe play some shows supporting our favourite bands, but that’s pretty much it,” says Mitchell. “So at the core of it, the glue that holds it together is the relationships. It’s really not held together by success or great ambition otherwise we would have broken up in 2005. So the secret for us I think has been wanting to keep the band together for reasons that are more than just about the music, or career stuff.”

And that very secret sauce Jebediah attributes to their longevity also carries over into their advice for any bands just beginning their own band journey: “It helps if you have a strong bond with the people in your band and can easily remember the reasons why you started playing in the first place, which should be to have fun. Commercial success, if you’re lucky to experience any at all, is fleeting, just like your time on this planet. Try and have some fun.”

With eight headline shows locked and loaded this October and November, Jebediah fans can expect plenty of favourites to be making appearances as part of the 30 Odyears Tour. But longtime fans will also be pleasantly surprised with what’s in store later this year, with the 30th anniversary run guaranteed to pay homage to the present and incredible past of Jebediah. “We’ve been playing a lot of festival sets where we wheel out all the hits, so to speak,” shares Mitchell, “so it’s time for us to curate a set of songs that aren’t just a parade of singles. So hopefully the set will be different to anything we’ve done before and be more of a deeper cross section of our history that represents a bit of everything.”

NEWS: JUSTICE ANNOUNCE AUS TOUR SPECIAL GUESTS TAME IMPALA (DJ SET) & BUSY P

French Grammy winners JUSTICE have announced the special guests for their upcoming Australian tour, with Tame Impala (DJ set) and Busy P joining the ride for the electronic duo’s December dates.

Bringing their full-scale live production to Australia, JUSTICE will play three exclusive east coast shows in December. The Australian leg kicks off in Sydney at Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday, 3 December, moves to Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Friday, 5 December, and wraps up in Brisbane at the Entertainment Centre on Sunday, 7 December. Tame Impala — the globally acclaimed psychedelic rock project helmed by Kevin Parker, who lent his distinctive vocals to JUSTICE’s GRAMMY-winning track Neverender and One Night/All Night — is a standout addition to the lineup. Renowned for his boundary-pushing sound and immersive live performances, these shows mark his highly anticipated return to Australian stages and first multi-date Australian DJ tour. His presence brings a unique dimension to the bill, seamlessly bridging French electro and Australian psych-pop.

Busy P, aka Pedro Winter, founder of Ed Banger Records (Justice’s label) and former Daft Punk manager, is a cornerstone of the French electronic scene, known for his electrifying DJ sets and energy that Justice fans are sure to lap up.

The tour announcement follows a landmark period for the Parisian duo. Justice returned at Coachella in April 2024 with the debut of their new live show, launching a major US tour that went on to win an honorary prize at the NRJ Awards. Meanwhile, Hyperdrama, the first Justice album in eight years, received a nomination in the 2025 GRAMMY Awards. The album featured singles including GRAMMY winning track Neverender and One Night/All Night, both starring one of Australia’s most popular and influential artists, Tame Impala. One Night/All Night landing as triple j’s most played song in February last year. In 2025, Justice also featured on The Weeknd’s smash single, Wake Me Up which is already nearing 60 million streams on Spotify.

Written around the NARA tour following the album’s historic ARIA win and landing alongside a warm, diaristic video documenting this momentous time, ‘Adore Me‘ is a love song with a twist – all jubilance and sunlight on first listen as it opens with the spellbinding woozy synths Emily Wurramara laid down on the track’s original demo, building to a buoyant pop groove – but there is an ache for reciprocity underneath the surface, as she reflects on “the flaws and patterns humanity engage with” when it comes to love in all its forms – whether internal, external or universal: “all these different concepts of love we need to look at and embrace as society”  Wurramara says – to meditate on what we deserve from these relationships, especially when there is “so much pain in the world”. Original, Daniel Johns), decorated with rhythmic flourishes of various bells, medicine bowls and chimes and inspired by the way artists like Florence + the Machine and James Blake blend emotive lyrics with atmospheric soundscapes, the song was recorded on Larrakia Country’s/Darwin’s Sands Studios with many more of NARA’s players including Caiti Baker on vocal engineering duties and a rapturous chorus of friends, with additional production, mixing and instrumentation via Tony Buchen (G Flip, Mildlife – bass, synthesiser) at Church Street Studios who worked with Declan Kelly (Bernard Fanning – drums, percussion). ‘Adore Me‘ stands as a testament to Wurramara‘s ability to ask the big, endlessly complex questions in the most healing, gorgeous, heart-on-sleeve ways – as she did on NARA – in a more expansive way than ever before, leaning further into the production instincts that helped to make her second album so singular.

Wurramara explains: “I’m a chord girl – so after laying down the chords for ‘Adore Me‘, I just sat there at two o’clock in the morning improvising. I heard the hook first, recorded it and then improvised the verse, which hasn’t changed since then. When it comes to songwriting, I feel like love songs are my superpower; I’m very well-versed and experienced in that. I’ve got a big heart, I’m a lover, and sometimes that can lead to challenges in the self and also within a relationship. But it’s all about growth. You’ve gotta go through that to understand the love you deserve and need. You grasp onto this idea of what adoration means, in the hope you find that, only to realise that, hey, maybe you should love yourself first? Set that standard for how you want to be loved. Relationships are a lot of work and I firmly believe that fostering these discussions, around love and vulnerability, can lead to greater understanding and connection between people who are longing for that profound experience. I think ‘Adore Me‘ really captures that essence – and there’s this continuation of community with the way we recorded it, which I loved.“

A Galaxy Far, Far Away – Galactic Empire, the galaxy’s favorite metal band, has announced their new album Cinemetal, out October 24th via Pure Noise Records.

The upcoming release sees the band journeying to other universes as they put their signature metal twist on songs from popular film franchises including Harry Potter, Back To The Future, Lord Of The Rings, Batman, Avengers, and more, and have released the lead single and music video Superman.

HILLTOP HOODS ANNOUNCE ‘NEVER COMING HOME’ NATIONAL ARENA TOUR AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM ‘FALL FROM THE LIGHT’ DROPPING AUG 1

Australian hip-hop royalty Hilltop Hoods are returning in full force, today announcing their Never Coming Home national tour – a run of capital city arena shows set to shake stages in early 2026.

With their signature blend of powerful lyricism, infectious beats and razor-sharp production, the Hoods are gearing up to deliver an unforgettable live experience – bringing their famed raw energy and full-scale arena show to six major cities across the country. Kicking things off in Hobart at Mystate Bank Arena on Feb 14, the tour will move to Adelaide for a hometown show at the Entertainment Centre on Feb 21, Qudos Bank Arena (Sydney), Rod Laver Arena (Melbourne), and Entertainment Centre (Brisbane), before wrapping at RAC Arena (Perth) on March 21.

Hyped to play their first national run since their acclaimed 2022 Show Business Tour, Suffa from band said: “Over the last few years we stepped back from touring to complete our album. The documentary chronicles the creation of hits like “Welcome to My Life,” “I’d Do Anything,” and “Perfect,” and examines the band’s continued impact as one of the most successful punk rock bands still selling out shows worldwide.
