Dutch metal band Beyond the Pale are proud to announce the addition of Bram ‘Bolo’ van Minnen of Necrotaph as their new lead vocalist. Bram joins the band effective immediately and will debut live with Beyond the Pale at Club Hell in Diest, Belgium on May 10, 2026, supporting Pestilence.
With Bram’s arrival, Beyond the Pale enter a new chapter, following the departure of Janneke de Rooy in 2025. “From the first rehearsal with Bram, it felt like someone had kicked the door open to a new era for this band,” says Frank, bassist and co-vocalist of Beyond the Pale. “His energy and creativity bring a new sense of purpose, a new drive. Beyond the Pale sounds more alive than ever.”
“Joining Beyond the Pale feels like the right evolution for me with Necrotaph on indefinite hiatus,” says Bram van Minnen. “When we got together, it clicked instantly. I can’t wait to hit the stage and show off some of the new songs.”
About Beyond the Pale
Energetic death/thrash metal band Beyond the Pale may be a relatively new name, but their line-up reads like a who’s who of the Dutch metal scene, with former members of Bloodgod, Disquiet, and Martyr, among others. Debut album ‘Monument in Time’ (2024) received raving reviews. This led to a recent reissue via the UK label Black Metal Archives.
To date, the band has successfully performed at festivals like Big Ass Metal Fest, No Sleep Metalfest, Hell over Edesheim Metalfest, and on numerous venues at home and abroad.
