MELBOURNE (February 11, 2026) – It’s just weeks until LINKIN PARK – Mike Shinoda, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn, Emily Armstrong, and Colin Brittain – grace Australian and New Zealand shores on their highly anticipated From Zero World Tour.
Today, the band has confirmed the 2 final special guests for the tour – Polaris for Adelaide on March 12 and Vana for Auckland on March 18.
Presented by Live Nation and Triple M, the FROM ZERO WORLD TOUR will encompass Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 3 and 5, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 8 and 10, Adelaide’s AEC Arena on March 12, Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on March 14 and 15, and concluding at Auckland’s Spark Arena on March 18.

Added to the Adelaide show and now special guest across the full Australian tour is Sydney based rock band POLARIS. CHUCK SICS SHARES EMOTIONAL FIRST SINGLE OF 2026, ARMS

A 00’s-influenced indie rock anthem for all the anxious lovers, Sydney-based artist and multi-instrumentalist Chuck Sics returns for the first time in 2026 with his new single Arms. It’s his first new offering since the release of his debut EP Slipstream, which came out in September 2025.

Just like his previous releases, Chuck Sics’ fuses his trademark knack for conjuring relatable lyrical fare whilst tackling another tricky topic – love, accepting love, and learning that you can be loved. Arms was produced and mixed by Chuck Sics himself, with help from frequent collaborators Blake Wares and River Langford. It continues on Chuck’s crunchy yet volatile creative aesthetic, whilst exploring new sonic and lyrical  territory for him.

 

“Arms is a song about falling in love, and letting love win you over when you’re afraid to lose it”, Chuck said about the track. “ I guess it’s normal to be afraid to lose someone, but it’s also easy to become nihilistic in that fear and let it cloud your feelings.

“It’s easy to get swept away in the fear that nothing lasts forever. With Arms, I wanted to remind myself, and hopefully others, to be present, hold your loved ones and let them hold you – that’s all you need.”

 

Marking Chuck’s first new release since his debut EP Slipstream, which dropped in September 2025, Arms again showcases Chuck’s versatility and skill, both as a writer and a musician (playing almost every instrument, producing and mixing). Since debuting in May 2025 with Redo, Chuck has gone on to receive over 100k streams on his EP, showcase at SXSW Sydney, build fans and industry attention locally and internationally, sell out his debut headline show and support the likes of The Tullamarines on the headline tour.

Alongside the new single, Chuck is playing a residency in Sydney at Pleasure Club. His first show was on February 5th, with the next on February 19th, with more shows – both locally and interstate – to come in the near future.

Picking up the trumpet in primary school, Chuck Sics’ musical evolution soon led him to the piano, before the floodgates burst wide open via finding the guitar at the age of 12, followed by bass, singing, and the occasional foray into drums. Dreams of becoming a concert pianist soon gave way to rock’n’roll persuasions, and, ultimately, a solo career that now finds Chuck in 2026 weaving lush and atmospheric soundscapes into stories soaked in poignant and authentic introspection. Offering listeners a journey through creativity and self-discovery, Chuck’s lyrics and musical proficiency was most recently on full display in a live setting with his band, but it’s via his debut EP Slipstream and Arms that Chuck Sics’ creative magic will enamour far and wide; labours of love that were years in the making, and that Chuck now continues to share with the world.

February 6th, 2026 – Today, multi-hyphenate musician Bayonne, Roger Sellers, returns with his new psych-pop single, “Multiphase,” out via Nettwerk. “Multiphase” begins a new chapter in Bayonne’s sonic journey. Synth-heavy, layered with percussion, and featuring dreamy vocals, this electrified track is a hypnotizing dose of melancholic indie pop with lyrics that translate the process of grief. Even with such a heavy subject matter, “Multiphase” could soundtrack a discothèque just as easily as a silver screen.

Roger shares, “‘Multiphase’ came from a loop that I recorded on my phone from a Prophet synthesizer years ago. I always loved the melancholic, yet hopeful nature of it. It’s about processing grief and feeling overwhelmed with multiple things at once, while also finding solace and comfort with time. At its core, it’s about the heavy emotions that can come with being a human and trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel in times of anguish.”

The message of “Multiphase” was inspired by Roger’s experience after seeing his mother grapple with his father’s death a few years prior. The line “Contemplate a message on the phone line” refers to a really strange, inexplicable voicemail his mother received on her landline weeks after his father passed, which played back a song he had recorded for her on Mother’s Day when he was young. At the end of the day, Roger shares, “This song is mainly just a reflection on how much grief can affect our lives and finding comfort with time.”

On February 26, Bayonne will embark on a handful of tour dates, including stops at Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco with electronic post-rock band Pinback, SXSW Music Festival in March, and a two-week run supporting experimental pop artist KishiBashi this Spring.

Since his 2016 debut album, Primitives, Bayonne has channeled his vast imagination into an elegant yet wildly experimental form of meditative, mesmerizing electronic pop. The Texas artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist uses his Bayonne moniker as a therapeutic source for his kinetic creative impulses. This process became especially cathartic following recent events in his personal life: his father’s death, the end of a significant relationship, and an overwhelming struggle with depression and anxiety. “‘Murder Scene’ explores eating disorders, body dysmorphia, self-doubt, and how dreams can become nightmares when the same people who once cheered for you are now criticizing you,” says singer and songwriter Amanda Lyberg. “The dream of being on stage comes with a spotlight on my personal flaws. I’m just a body. To be picked apart and judged and perceived. Anxiety is a liar in my head. It tells me I’m not good enough to be here. So, I fight it. I changed my name and my image to prove it wrong. Still the anxiety gets louder. I think it’s trying to kill me. In a world so desensitized, it feels like death has been redefined as a minor inconvenience. I’m insecure about my body so anxiety might win. My skin is crawling, and every part of my body feels wrong. Maybe I’ll call a doctor and get it altered. Maybe if I don’t eat, I’ll feel better.”

 

“Murder Scene” is the follow-up to the blistering and inspirational anthem “Awakening,” released October 17, 2025 via Better Noise Music. It was the first taste of new music in two years from the Detroit, quintet.

For all of EVA UNDER FIRE’s new music, Amanda drew on her career as a licensed therapist to foster an open dialogue among the band members, empowering everyone to be heard during the recording. Her work in therapy started in 2018 when she graduated with a Master of Arts in Psychology degree and went on to work at a mental health clinic in Detroit, Transcendence Behavioral Health (owned by Dr. Stephanie Williams). That same year, her father passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. Her mother survived the same batch that killed her father and has been sober for the past six years. In addition to her thriving and busy music career, Amanda is currently a practicing psychotherapist specializing in trauma work, grief and loss, and addiction recovery.

 

Her story turned into a 2023 short film, “My Rockstar,” which used EVA UNDER FIRE music throughout, and has won over 20 awards in several film fests including Orlando Film Fest, Wild Rivers Film Festival, Toronto WILDfilm Festival, and many others.

Lauded as one of Sirius XM’s 2023 “Ones To Watch,” EVA UNDER FIRE released their critically acclaimed debut album, LOVE, DRUGS & MISERY via Better Noise Music in 2022. SYDNEY GUITAR SHOW ANNOUNCES FULL 2026 PROGRAM FEATURING DIESEL, PLINI, LARRY MITCHELL, HUSSY HICKS, TASH WOLF, WORKSHOPS, PANELS & MUCH MORE

The Sydney Guitar Show will spread its wings at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 7 March and Sunday 8 March, with two super-sized days of guitar gear, performances, workshops and experiences. Since its inception in 2015, the Melbourne Guitar Show has become a mecca for guitar-lovers, a flagship gathering for the industry, and a totally unique experience. This year’s Sydney event brings the same sights, sounds and excitement to Sydney for the first time. An extensive celebration of the versatility and endless possibility of the world’s most popular instrument, this all ages, all levels event is guaranteed to inspire and delight axe-slingers from all walks of life. And today, the full 2026 program for the Sydney Guitar Show has arrived, featuring performances, workshops and conversations with some of country’s most exciting and innovative guitarists, including Diesel, Plini, Hussy Hicks, Tash Wolf, as well as international guest Larry Mitchell (US).

Taking the main stage on Saturday 7 March, one of Australia’s most renowned guitarists Diesel will host Decoding The Dream, a gripping and immersive in conversation between Diesel and elite master builder David Brown (US), with a career spanning Billy Joel’s band through to the elite team of Fender Custom Shop Master Builders, discussing the ideas, instincts, and priorities that shape a great guitar. Meanwhile on Sunday 8 March, internationally revered guitarist Plini will wow crowds alongside long-time band member & live guitarist Jake Howsam Lowe, showcasing his distinctive and progressive instrumental rock that once had Steve Vai declare him as “the future of exceptional guitar playing”. Performing on Saturday 7 March, GRAMMY Award-winning producer, engineer and performer Larry Mitchell will ignite the main stage with a performance, along with a workshop earlier in the day in the Make Music Room. Meanwhile, Saturday’s event will boast acclaimed Australian guitarist, songwriter, producer and influencer Tash Wolf, beloved for her intuitive, blues-and-jazz-influenced style, with Sunday’s event set to dazzle with a celebration of folk, blues, country, rock and roots courtesy of Hussy Hicks, known for the infectious energy, tight harmonies and musical versatility.

 

And that’s still not all! Adding to the mastery on Saturday 7 March will be performances from Australian-Spanish guitarist, producer and composer Godriguez, as well as Big Music Bandits and Ray Beadle, while Sunday will showcase rising guitarist and singer Lil G, contemporary jazz outfit Lucy Clifford Trio, SuperFunAwesomeHappyTime, as well as virtuosic guitarist Zane Banks bringing the dawn of rock and roll to life via a story-driven journey from Delta Blues, gospel, country and swing (The Dawn of Electric Rock & Roll).

 

MAKE MUSIC ROOM: WORKSHOPS, PANELS & MORE

A full program of workshops and interactive sessions to inspire and inform music makers about playing styles, songwriting, and more awaits in the Make Music Room this March in Sydney, dovetailing between the performances and discussions taking place across the two days, promoting music-making and all things guitars with a range of workshops, panels and more.

 

On Saturday, punters can experience the Classical Guitar Workshop, as well as a workshop run by GRAMMY Award-winning producer, engineer and performer Larry Mitchell, whose career has seen him tour the world alongside the likes of Tracey Chapman, Billy Squier and more. Also on Saturday, leading session guitarist and YouTube pioneer Brett Kingman will share tone tips on optimising your tones for stage and screen, no matter what medium or tools you’re using.

 

Sunday’s Make Music Room will also boast a program curated by I Heart Songwriting Club includes two songwriting workshops, a Songwriter Roundtable, and a Meetup for songwriters to gather in a friendly and supportive environment.

Alongside the performances and programs at this year’s event, the jewel in the crown of the Sydney Guitar Show will undeniably be the unique offering of a vast collection of guitars, pedals, amps and other gear on display, spanning everything from the biggest global brands through to local luthiers building only a handful of guitars per year. You’ll be able to see gear in action, and try and buy at the show, all while enjoying the incredible array of performances, workshops and more on offer.

Much more than a guitar products showcase and music festival, the Guitar Show is evolving and introducing new elements this year including:

 

  • Quieter mornings, with no amps in the exhibitor halls until midday. If you’re not ready for the full volume experience or want to bring the family at a quieter time, get along to the show from 10am-12pm on either day.
  • The Pedal Party is a curated area featuring Australian made effects pedals and pedal accessories, in collaboration with Pedal Empire. This year’s Pedal Party features Poly Effects, Dirty Sock Effects, Vander Guitars, Cunningham Amplification, Galahcore Effects, Electron Brothers, and the launch of Phatt Music.
  • The Studio is a new addition to the Guitar Show, with a dedicated room for recording and pro audio gear and support for musicians wanting to do more with their home recording. The new and revamped offerings from Fender Studio, launched at the recent NAMM Show, will be on display here alongside mics, software, studio furniture, audio interfaces and more.
  • The Kids Room is a new collaboration with Big Music to support the next generation of guitarists. This ‘kids only’ space, run by music educators, will have a range of guitars and other equipment to try and a limited number of Group Lessons to get started or learn something new about playing guitar.

 

“We have been running a successful and popular guitar show in Melbourne for a decade and people always ask us, why not Sydney?” shares Alex Masso, Producer of the Sydney Guitar Show and CEO of the Australian Music Association (AMA). “We’re answering their question with a big debut at Sydney Showground.”

 

“We’re building on the success of Melbourne, but the Sydney Guitar Show will have a character of its own”, said Masso. “I can’t wait to give Sydney’s guitarists the same kind of experience that people have been enjoying for the past decade in Melbourne. There is really no event like this in Australia.”

 

“The goal that ties all this together is to create a place and an experience where people are excited about the guitar,” explains Masso. “Whether you want to check out gear or enjoy some live music, whether you’re one of Australia’s top professional guitarists or a total beginner, whether you’re obsessed with guitars or just curious, whether you’re ready to buy something or just want to hang out with other guitarists, the Sydney Guitar Show has something to offer.”

 

The Sydney Guitar Show will be held at Sydney Showgrounds, Olympic Park, on Saturday March 7 (10am-5pm) and Sunday March 8 (10am-4pm), 2026.

AUGIE MARCH ADD SYDNEY SHOW TO MOO, YOU BLOODY CHOIR 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR 

Augie March have today added a Sydney show to their 20th Anniversary Tour of Moo, You Bloody Choir, set to play their iconic album in its entirety at Manning Bar on May 1. This news comes alongside the addition of You Am I’s Davey Lane playing with full band as national support on the run that will kick off in Perth at Freo.Social on April 3, before moving through Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane, the tour will now finish in Sydney at Manning Bar on May 1.

Just shy of two decades ago, an instant Australian icon was made with the 2006 release of Augie March’s poetic and immersive third album Moo, You Bloody Choir. With its twentieth anniversary fast approaching, the beloved indie rockers have announced a national tour fit for such a special milestone and album.

“Not only have we added our great mate Dan Luscombe to the line up, we are now doubly blessed and can announce that another wonderful fellow and genuine star of Australian Music, Davey Lane, will be joining us with his full band and a new album for the Moo 20th tour,” enthuses lead singer Glenn Richards.  “You’ll know Davey for his own excellent stuff and as the long time axeman for our favourite young uncles, You Am I.  When the bands are having fun the audiences feel it, and we just guaranteed the outcome.  Huzzah!”

Fresh off an induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame and hyped to jump on the full run with his Augie mates, Davey Lane quips in true Davey language, “If one may be truly shellfish, it’s always been a lil dream of mine to go on a nation wide tour supporting a band playing me songs. It’s an honour to (hopefully sufficiently) warm YOU up for them before I join you in luxuriating in the incredible song/stage craft of the Marchmen as they mark the anniversary of the majesty of thee Moo. It’ll be joyous. Join us in the joyousness!”

With a warm yet melancholic glow, Moo You Bloody Choir’s opening track One Crowded Hour instantly set the scene for something truly special on Augie March’s third full-length album. An emotive blossoming of poetry and precision, One Crowded Hour was a honeyed and clever exploration into a fleeting moment of connection, while also signalling a significant stylistic shift from the band’s previous 2002 album Strange Bird. While One Crowded Hour reached #29 on the ARIA Singles charts and nabbed the coveted #1 spot on triple j’s Hottest 100, Moo, You Bloody Choir is certainly no one hit wonder. Instead, the entire 14-track album gently but powerfully pulls you into just over an hour of meticulously sequenced delights, from the lush yet self-referential Victoria’s Secret through to the maudlin jaunt of The Cold Acre, stirring country-pop (Mother Greer), hazy urgency (Just Passing Through), aching acoustic beauty a la Bob Dylan (Bottle Baby), and otherworldly elegance (Clockwork) along with oscillating moments of indie rock, pop and folk that never overstay their welcome; and truly never leave you.

Hailing mostly from Shepparton, Victoria and commencing their creative journey under the Augie March moniker in the mid-to-late 90s, the groupopened the turn of the century with their 2000 debut album Sunset Studies. Going on to release eight studio albums to date, snag 13 ARIA Award nominations and a win in 2001 for Engineer of the Year (Sunset Studies), tick off chart success, and evolve a cult-like following into an enduring and expansive fanbase to this very day, Augie March’s 2006 outing Moo, You Bloody Choir also notably cemented the group’s prowess and ambitious creative exploration. Recorded in San Francisco following a gruelling two-month North American tour, Augie March dove into experimentation on album #3. A record that would go on to climb the charts, achieve Platinum status, take out the crown for the Australian Music Prize along with multiple other accolades and awards, Moo, You Bloody Choir undeniably became an all-time Australian classic, with the band also touring the album at home and in North America for three solid years after its release to an ever-growing international fanbase.

And in 2026, two decades on since its release, the band will tick off another milestone for their Australian tour next April: performing Moo, You Bloody Choir in full for the first time.

“These anniversary things can either be rote and procession like, or a second chance to investigate the enduring mystery that genuine, complete, composed bodies of work are made of,” the band shares. “We are excited to opt for the latter version, not that there’s a choice in our case. The songs will be treated with respect and disdain simultaneously, the shows will be powerful and intimate by turns, we will speak with the audience and they will speak with us, like all the best Augie shows.”
