Cog arrived at the Great Northern this weekend for the Byron Bay leg of their ‘Walk the Line’ tour. Supported by Headsend and Hammers, it was a night of alternative metal, progressive rock, funk, reggae, and psych sounds, often driven by thick basslines and atmospheric guitar work.
The crowd was enthusiastic, clearly excited to see one of their favourite bands play a mix of the songs that shaped Australia’s alternative rock scene of the early 2000’s, and their new single ‘Walk the Line’ released earlier this year.
