Dressed entirely in Gold, Dr.Mark Silcox makes his way to the stage to discuss with tonight’s audience the benefits of Gold trading.
At the age of 62, Dr. Mark Silcox is worried about retirement, memory loss and wealth. He’s discovered the secret to financial independence: Gold Trading and he’s here to give a Master Class on its benefits.
What ensues is the most basic power point presentation following Silcox through his life and his love for all things gold. And it actually works. It’s random, bizarre and strangely informative to watch.
Now it’s quite obvious that Silcox loves gold, and he’s here to inform the world about all the good things gold has to offer, and why we shouldn’t waste Fairy detergent. He’s well versed on the subject, bringing an audience member on stage to further educate them on all things gold.
Silcox is a rather peculiar character and his delivery is deadpan, making it even more amusing. His slides make no sense, but that’s the point and perhaps the brilliance of the show. We are constantly asking ourselves- “What the fuck is going on?” and with his perfect delivery in monotone the audience can’t help but laugh.
Silcox doles out gold trading advice with such confidence that even if the information is wrong, it doesn’t matter- it’s bloody funny. At times the audience doesn’t know whether to laugh or take notes. We’re getting financial advice and life advice all at the same time.
It takes an awful amount of courage to share your art and comedy with the world, even more when you’re dressed entirely in gold and Silcox delivers an amusing show that is part comedy, part life advice.
