Slowly Slowly arrived in Brisbane last night for the third leg of their ‘Forgiving Spree’ tour. Supported by Honey Revenge (LA) and Grayscale (Philly), the night was for pop rock lovers.
It’s been a while between drinks since Slowly Slowly hit Brisbane, so the crowd where ecstatic to have them back on stage to hear them smash out tracks from their new album (released in January – of the same name as the tour). Known for their emotionally raw lyrics and a sound that combines the anthemic with the intimate, Slowly Slowy mix lush instrumentation with catchy melodies. Lead singer Ben Stewart’s distinct vocals were nothing less than perfect on the night and only matched by his charismatic stage presence.
With dates left in Sydney, and Melbourne, make sure to go along for an incredible night.
