Descendants formed in 1977 and have release 8 studio albums, 3 live albums, 3 compilation albums and 4 EP’s and tonight, at the iconic Forum, drew on this vast career.

Blasting through a 32 song setlist, Descendents were able to cover a range of territory with the bulk of the tunes coming from their debut album ‘Milo Goes to College’ and 1996’s ‘Everything Sucks’.

Opening with classics, ‘Everything Sucks’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Silly Girl’ had the packed room jumping from the outset and then moved into tracks from ‘Fat’, ‘Hypercaffium Spazzinate’ and ‘Cool to be You’.

Included in the setlist was a handful of tunes from the Descendants “spin-off” band, ‘All’, which was interesting to include in the the wider set as it doesn’t include singer Milo Aukerman on the recordings.

Overall a ripper night out of full of fun punk rock tunes and good vibes all round.
