Coming straight outta the Bayou, New Orleans-based quintet HourHouse are proudly rap metal. But don’t get it twisted — we ain’t talking about no mall-variety jock-pop; HourHouse have concocted a fully loaded riff ‘n’ rhyme proposition, splitting at the seams with dirty grooves and heavy riffage, thumping beats and fierce spittin’. Their music oozes confidence and swagger — with influences varied and diverse, from $uicideboi$ to Meshuggah, Kendrick to Korn. So expect the unorthodox from this forward-thinking crew. Fusing tectonic plate-shifting riffs with woozy beats, thunderclap grooves, and ferocious screams that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end, HourHouse are setting a new bar for where rap metal is headed.
UNFD is pleased to welcome HourHouse to its worldwide roster and they are sharing the video for DO IT LIKE. Watch it here:

DO IT LIKE is about our impact on the rap metal genre as a whole and displays who we are as individuals in this group,” says vocalist Milly about the track. “The verses are a multitude of street lingo mixed with ferocious screams. Lyrically, it starts as a recollection of world that surrounds them then turns into a mirror to the state of the world. Mentioning the violence and madness we all have to survive daily and that, for some, there isn’t an escape.”As for HourHouse‘s signing to UNFD, the band’s enthusiasm is unbridled, with Milly saying, “Signing to UNFD is a dream come true for us. A roster full of creative heavyweights, and a team of amazing like-minded people. They give us 100% creative freedom to keep pushing the limits with our music, which has always been the most important thing to us. With UNFD, it doesn”t really feel like a label, but more of a helping hand guiding us along the way, offering their endless insight and direction, while still giving us the freedom to grow HourHouse in a manner best suited for us.”He finishes, “It’s just easy to see how bright our future is with them. Our fans can expect a flood of new music on the way, awesome announcements, and killer shows. We’ve begun the movement and together it’s time to show the world.” Just as both the people and culture of NOLA rise above and soldier on, HourHouse fill their space with vibrant, creative, and colorful attitude. Fans can expect bigger songs, bigger collaborations, and an all around bigger HourHouse. Stay tuned in and see what’s next. Don’t sleep on HourHouse.
