Global superstar Camila Cabello has announced two Australian live shows for August 2025.

Presented by Frontier Touring, the award-winning star will perform at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Wednesday 27 August and at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday 30 August.

20TH ANNIVERSARY AUSTRALIAN TOUR

TEG MJR is excited to announce that the four-time GRAMMY-nominated band The Fray, is bringing their highly anticipated “How to Save a Life” 20th Anniversary Tour to Australia this December.   These shows are part of an extensive global tour and will celebrate their timeless debut album, How to Save a Life, giving fans the chance to relive the music that defined a generation.

The tour will kick off in Perth at Metro City on Wednesday, December 3rd, before moving to Brisbane’s Eatons Hill Hotel, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, and concluding in Melbourne at the Forum on Sunday, December 7th. Fans can gain early access to tickets through the artist presale, which begins at 10:00 AM (local time) on Thursday, March 27th. General public ticket sales will start at 10:00 AM (local time) on Tuesday, April 1.

Released in 2005, How to Save a Life became one of the defining albums of the 2000’s, earning widespread acclaim and delivering hits like “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and the 5 x Platinum title track.  Climbing to the top of the Billboard 200 chart, the album’s heartfelt lyrics and signature sound struck a chord with listeners around the world, solidifying The Fray’s place in music history. BETH GIBBONS: BRISBANE HEADLINE SHOW ANNOUNCED

Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut solo album Lives Outgrown, Frontier Touring is pleased to announce Beth Gibbons – the pioneering vocalist and songwriter/producer of Bristol band Portishead – will perform an intimate headline show at ​ Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on Tuesday 3 June.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Beth’s haunting, distinctive voice has resonated with audiences worldwide. Performing tracks from the Australian premiere of her latest solo work alongside career classics, this newly announced show is the third addition to Beth’s upcoming tour of Australia, following her two previously announced headline dates at Vivid LIVE (Sydney) and RISING (Melbourne). The shows come more than 15 years since Beth last performed with Portishead in Australia.

Blending the intimate with the unpredictable, fans finally have the unique opportunity to experience Beth’s sublime voice live, in what promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Having already garnered widespread critical acclaim, Lives Outgrown was shortlisted for the 2024 Mercury Music Prize – a fitting recognition for the singer, who previously won the award in 1995 as part of Portishead. Featuring 10 beautiful new tracks recorded over a period of 10 years, the album was produced by James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode) and Beth Gibbons with additional production by Lee Harris (Talk Talk). It is, by the artist’s own admission, her most personal work to date, the result of a period of sustained reflection and change – “lots of goodbyes,” in Beth’s words. Farewells to family, to friends, even to her former self. These are songs from the mid-course of life, when looking ahead no longer yields what it used to, and looking back has a sudden, sharper focus.

In addition to her seminal work with Portishead, Beth’s previous original material release was 2002’s Out Of Season. In 2014, she sang with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra for their recording of Górecki’s Symphony of Sorrowful Songs (2014). More recently, she collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on ‘Mother I Sober’ from his Mr Morale & The Big Steppers album (2022).

“Every action causes a reaction, a side effect,” says Kakaty. “Toxicity is a virus that spreads and kills, but liberation and healing lies in an antidote you already possess. And now is the time to take it.”

or two decades, Pop Evil frontman Leigh Kataky has needed to mine the deepest of reserves in order to drag the band up from the blue-collar grassroots of his local Michigan scene to stand proud at the top of the modern rock game. Soaring successes, bitter defeats… Leigh Kakaty has survived it all.

What Remains is the culmination and story of this journey with Pop Evil, laid bare like never before. Continuing in the recent vein of 2023’s acclaimedSkeletons, the new opus is both sonically and thematically Pop Evil’s heaviest ever offering; a thundering collection of arena-ready modern rock and metal hits in which Kakaty opens heart, mind, and soul.

“There are a lot of issues and things that I’ve dealt with in this journey of Pop Evil that I’ve buried for a long time,” the frontman explains of this document of resilience, perseverance, and accountability.

Pop Evil were born in North Muskegon, Michigan in 2001, Kakaty drawing on the lessons of a youth first shaped not by music, but by high school basketball — leadership, team work, the drive to improve in the lonely hours put in at the gym at 5am, the will to win suppressing any fear — in order to fight tooth and nail for their break-out moment.

I was hustling and learning every day to make my dreams come true,” Kakaty recalls of his time playing local bars and slinging early EPs out of the back of his truck. “Studying never interested me. Neither did getting a regular job. A knee injury wrecked my shot at playing sports. Music was all I wanted to do from that moment, and I didn’t give myself a backup plan. Pop Evil gave me a purpose, and a reason to get up every day. It became a crusade.”

Lipstick on the Mirror, their 2008 debut, and its follow-up, War of Angels, brought acclaim and global attention; 2013’s Onyx delivered the first of the band’s nine No.1 singles and six RIAA-certified gold and platinum plaques, but also a period of darkness brought on by the grief of Kakaty losing his father. “I was completely lost … I had just missed the last five years with my dad, chasing this dream when I could have been with him. I didn’t know if I wanted or could do Pop Evil anymore,” he says. The band’’s 2017 self-titled album, opened by the smash-hit “Waking Lions” was written “pretty much to save my life” – but in turn “reminded me of the fire I have inside, and that God put me here to make music that could help people.”

It’s a mission statement enshrined in Pop Evil to this day — and which provided the spark for the genesis of What Remains.

“You’re always chasing that one song that can connect with that one person,” Kakaty says. “And that process has to start with yourself. There’s a lot of personal healing on this record, a lot of things I wanted to get out for my own mental well-being. I’m finally at a place where I can confront my demons.”

Sonically, the album is a riotous explosion of life-affirming noise; a vortex of scything riffs and gut-punch drum beats that regularly give way to Pop Evil’s hallmark anthemic choruses. “We set out to push boundaries,” nods Kakaty. “Metal has always been a part of our DNA, but we’ve never made it such a focal point before. A lot of writing on this record has been about listening to what my soul is saying and letting the songs find their own path, rather than chasing a sound that might fit in on the radio. I think you can really hear the mood and emotion of the album’s themes in the music.”

The Atlanta (US) artist will perform at the Forum, Melbourne on Saturday 12 July and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday 15 July, following a massive US and UK/EU tour in support of her breakout album, Underdressed At The Symphony.

With Underdressed at the Symphony (out now on Secretly Canadian) crowned one of 2024’s most acclaimed albums, the project landed on Best of 2024 lists from Rolling Stone, Consequence, Paste, SPIN, UPROXX, and was praised by The New York Times, who noted the album’s ability to “walk the line between indie-rock and country.”

​A self-taught guitarist by elementary school, with a deep love of bluegrass and country running in her family, Webster was bound to be a musician. At just 16 she released her debut album, Run & Tell. Like other teenage phenoms Jackson Browne and Laura Marling, it exhibited stunning lyrical and artistic clarity. Her Southern roots were obvious, but Webster had more than country music inspiring her worldview – she was deeply embedded in the culture of her hometown, Atlanta. Lil Yachty was her classmate, she was sneaking out to see underground shows and fortuitously had befriended rapper/producer Ethereal while in High School. She went on to sign to Awful Records, making her label-mates with Father, Playboi Carti and Ethereal. To the outsider, an odd home but Webster shared the same weirdo art-kid ethos of her label mates – impossible to peg, endlessly experimenting, making shit, doing stuff, genre-fluid rule breakers. ​

Her 2017 self-titled release on Awful brought her enough notoriety to get her signed to Secretly Canadian, the home of ANOHNI, Porridge Radio, Whitney, Yoko Ono and more.
