Deafheaven brought their intricate guitars, smooth melodies and crushing riffs to the Forum where they put on a spellbinding display of professionalism and musicianship. The band took the audience on a journey of ultra-aggressive punchy riffs interspersed with black metal inspired leads and blast beats and smooth intricate post-rock ambience. All of it effortlessly blended together in a wall of sound that left no room to breathe and had the room heaving with energy and excitement.
