News: Bonnie Tyler – Crushes It On TikTok! New Studio Album “The Best Is Yet To Come” Out Feb 26

Bonnie Tyler will release her brand-new studio album “The Best Is Yet To Come”,
on February 26 via earMUSIC.

Check out her 3-Track-Medley on YouTube right now:

Over the course of promoting her new album “The Best Is Yet To Come”, Bonnie joined TikTok and landed a viral hit within a very short time with her first post. The first lady of pop/rock with the smokey voice performs her classic “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” and invites users to sing with her using the app’s duet function.

Although her greatest successes to date has been in the 80s, Tyler has quickly expanded her target group to a younger audience. Since starting on TikTok she has been able to gain thousands of followers and generated hundreds of thousands of views with just one video.

The numbers are growing exponentially: There are currently 350 000 video views, over 1,000 comments and nearly 1000 duets based on the video. The numbers are already dated as soon as this press release leaves the desk, because new followers & likes are added every second!

Check out the video.

**********

If you think of the decade that represents the craziest hairstyles, the boldest outfits and the most iconic music videos, then you think of the 1980s. This decade created so many different genres and developed wild new styles. In this creative environment Bonnie Tyler made her biggest worldwide breakthrough. Her new album “The Best Is Yet To Come” picks up exactly where her classic songs like „Holding Out For A Hero” and „Total Eclipse Of The Heart” left off.

The first lady of pop/rock, Bonnie Tyler, has had a remarkable career spanning 5 decades. She made music history with her instantly recognizable voice. Bonnie’s unique talent delivered those era-defining mega hits and until now she has sold over 100 million records. The release of her new album will be preceded by the first single “When The Lights Go Down” on 18 December 2020. “The Best is Yet To Come” consists of twelve brand new tracks, and is the follow up to her successful studio album “Between The Earth And The Stars”.

“The Best Is Yet To Come” presents Bonnie’s “up to date” sound that still evokes the passion, energy and the fun of those glory years. Again, working with long-time producer David Mackay, this new album stands proudly amongst anything she has done in the past. Her last album “Between The Earth and The Stars” reflected her serious star power, boasting contributions from Rod Stewart, Barry Gibb of The Bee Gees, Cliff Richard and Francis Rossi of Status Quo. It charted her highest across Europe in over 30 years.

Now on “The Best Is Yet To Come” she proves that she doesn’t need guests to perfect a stunning album.
Bonnie explains: “I have been anxious to sing for you all for the past 10 long and scary months. I realize some of you have suffered from the virus and loss of family and friends and my heart aches for you. Music can lighten our load and is always my personal retreat. I hope these new songs will lift your spirits. I am so happy and proud of this new album. It simply rocks and brings a smile to my face every time I put it on. The moment we can get back on stage and see your smiling faces will be extra special. I promise the best IS yet to come.”

The title of the album “The Best Is Yet To Come” says that there is no stopping the effervescent Bonnie Tyler. She is back, better than ever and with this energetic, empowering and joyful collection she’s ready to shake off the blues of 2020 and get the party started!

“The Best Is Yet To Come” will be available on CD and digital on February 26 on earMUSIC.

News: One Morning Left release new single/video ‘Sinners Are Winners’

Finnish metalcore eccentrics ONE MORNING LEFT are finally back with a retro vengeance!
The band officially launched the pre-orders for their brand-new album »Hyperactive«, which will be available on 21st of May in 2021, via Arising Empire.

Continuing the barrage of fast-paced tracks is party anthem ‘Sinners Are Winners‘, a love letter to 80’s hard rock, out today worldwide!
Lyrically the song is a parody of the party hard lifestyle and rock’n’roll clichés.

I f****ng love the 80’s and wanted to mix those guitar mannerisms with metalcore, creating one of the most fun songs to bang your head to,” Luoto says.

Making a guest appearance with a face-melting guitar solo is producer/guitarist Joonas Parkkonen (SANTA CRUZ, LOST SOCIETY, APOCALYPTICA).

ONE MORNING LEFT’s fourth album marks their first new material in five years. On »Hyperactive« the group begins a whole new chapter in their story, drawing inspiration from retro electronic- and video game music, as well as 80’s hard rock, while staying true to their heavier roots.

Changes are happening not only in the musical style, but also in their lineup. Returning from the cast of 2016’s “Metalcore Superstars” are frontman Mika Lahti, singer-guitarist Leevi Luoto and drummer Niko Hyttinen. Additional firepower is provided by new faces Tuukka Ojansivu on guitar and Miska Sipiläinen on bass guitar, as well as the return-to-form of keyboard player Touko Keippilä from the band’s original “Panda <3 Penguin” lineup.

The album shapes up to be the artistic peak of ONE MORNING LEFT‘s musical “blood mountain”: epic lyrics carried by Luoto’s soaring vocal melodies, contrasted by the distinctive, gritty sound of Lahti, all accompanied by breathtaking keyboard leads, blisteringly fast guitars, masterful bass riffs and feverish drum parts.

With the release of »Hyperactive«, ONE MORNING LEFT looks to add to their growing global fan base. Having gathered extensive live performance experience playing countless shows in Finland, touring mainland Europe, Russia, and the Baltics, and even performing in places such as Iceland and Japan, the group is planning on taking their entertaining and energetic live show on the road in the near future.

Live Review: HOLY HOLY

Live Review: Holy Holy at Forum Melbourne 12/2/21
Supported by Queen P

It’s a very different atmosphere at The Forum tonight. The event is fully seated so there’s no dancefloor, but it seems everyone is just happy to be back together once more.

Queen P gets the place vibing early with her energetic set packed with quick whip raps and hip-hop beats. Born in Sudan, the outspoken singer is proud of her black heritage and she celebrates who she is with her song called ‘Queen With Colour.’ Queen P confidently rolls through each song and notches up the tempo with an explosive cover of Missy Elliot’s ‘Work It,’ complete with a duo of synchronised dancers twerking along by her side. She leaves us on a high note with a message of love, positivity and peace encouraging the crowd to rise up and bounce around in their seats.

Holy Holy make a huge first impression with their hit ‘Maybe You Know’ as they’re joined by a full live band along with some impressive stage lighting and the venue immediately comes alive with excitement. After a few songs they tick off the speaking part of their set list with some relevant banter about their time spent in recent lockdowns which included a lot of online gaming they tell us. “We admit, we’re a bit rusty, we haven’t played a live show in about a year,” says vocalist Timothy Carroll.

Nevertheless, they are so happy to be back on stage tonight playing two shows and another two the following night. They give it absolutely everything they’ve got for this first performance and even showcase some remarkable guitar solos they’ve been working on during the break.

A few special guests join them in the second half of the show including Ali Barter who lends vocals on an exceptional rock ‘n’ roll rendition of Lorde’s ‘Green Light’ and their own song ‘Teach Me About Dying.’ Fittingly Queen P joins them to perform their latest track ‘Port Rd’ and tonight marks the first time they’ve played it live together so it’s a special moment fore them and the audience. The song is a very different vibe to their previous material, taking a different direction as Queen P serves up some fierce rhymes in juxtaposition to Holy Holy’s melancholic vocals.

After a quick acoustic session everybody is itching to get out of their seats and up on their feet for a proper dance in their space. The audience chants them back to the stage along with their band for their most popular track ‘True Lovers’ and we’re swept away with their uplifting lyrics and euphoric guitar arrangements to make us feel the power of live music.

Video Alert | Ozzy Osbourne Releases Animated Video For ‘It’s A Raid’ Feat. Post Malone

OZZY OSBOURNE
RELEASES ANIMATED VIDEO FOR IT’S A RAID FEAT. POST MALONE

SONG IS THE FINAL RELEASE FROM ORDINARY MAN

OZZY OSBOURNE has premiered a new animated video for It’s A Raid from his #4 ARIA debut record, ORDINARY MAN released in 2020.

At a SiriusXM listening party last year to celebrate the release of ORDINARY MAN (Epic Records / Sony Music Australia) OZZY recounted the song’s inspiration. While recording Black Sabbath’s VOL. 4 in Bel Air, California, OSBOURNE triggered the home’s security alarm and police surrounded the home, which he says had “piles of marijuana and cocaine.” OSBOURNE adds, “I’m shouting, ‘IT’S A FUCKIN’ RAIIIIID,” before hiding the drugs and ingesting cocaine while hiding in one of the home’s bathrooms.”

In the video, directed by Tomas Lenert, OZZY and Post Malone team up for a truly wild ride. The clip begins with OSBOURNE and Malone at the infamous Bel Air, CA house (which served as the inspiration for the song) before they lead police through the streets of the city and passing iconic Los Angeles landmarks on their journey.

“A couple of years ago I didn’t even know who Post Malone was,” OZZY says. “Since then we’ve worked together on two studio tracks and have performed together twice. Understandably Covid-19 made it difficult to get together to shoot a music video for ‘It’s a Raid’ so we opted for this wildly imagined animated video for the final single from the ORDINARY MAN album.” OZZY, who’s been in the studio working on a new album with producer Andrew Watt, adds that he “can’t wait to for everyone to hear my new music.”

This marks the second duet with Malone. The two previously teamed on Take What You Want from his Hollywood’s Bleeding album (which they also performed at last year’s American Music Awards).  The track was produced by Watt, who collaborated with OSBOURNE for ORDINARY MAN as both producer and co-writer.
In its first week of release, the critically acclaimed ORDINARY MANOSBOURNE’s first new solo album in ten years–was the #1 rock album in the world, topping multiple charts in its triumphant first week of release.  Worldwide, ORDINARY MAN entered the charts in the Top Ten in seven countries (including America and the U.K.) and #4 on the ARIA chart, making it the highest charting album of OZZY’s career.

ORDINARY MAN marks OSBOURNE’s first new solo music in almost 10 years.  Recorded in Los Angeles, the album features producer Andrew Watt on guitars, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) on bass and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums.  Beyond the core band, ORDINARY MAN, features a who’s-who of OZZY friends and collaborators including Elton John, Slash, Post Malone and Tom Morello.

News: Ocean Alley With special guests Slowly Slowly, Maddy Jane and The Grogans

Ocean Alley have captivated audiences around the world with their infectious melody lines and memorable blend of psychedelic-surf-rock.

Australia’s beloved psychedelic-surf-rockers Ocean Alley have spent the past decade creating a unique lane for themselves as a proudly independent band, their vision and sound guided solely by their instinct and passion. The band debuted at #3 on the ARIA Album Chart with their ARIA-nominated third album Lonely Diamond (2020), garnering four star reviews from the likes of NME Australia and Rolling Stone Australia. The album followed the success of 2018’s Chiaroscuro which propelled the band into national prominence with the double platinum-selling single ‘Confidence’ taking out #1 in triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2018.

Despite sold out international tours and major festival appearances including Reading & Leeds (UK), Splendour In The Grass (AUS) and Sziget (HU) under their belt, plus more than 345 million catalogue streams, the inner-workings of the band haven’t changed much since their humble beginnings jamming in a Northern Beaches garage. They are still fiercely independent, constantly pushing their own boundaries and defying expectations of what their music can be.

Joining Ocean Alley will be Slowly Slowly, Maddy Jane and The Grogans.

News: PETE MURRAY DROPS NEW SINGLE AND ANNOUNCES NEW EP FOR MARCH 5 RELEASE

Pete Murray today releases his second official single ‘If We Never Dance Again’ from his forthcoming EP THE NIGHT, which is set for release Friday March 5 via Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

PRE-ORDER ‘THE NIGHT’ EP

Written in LA in May 2019 on his first ever co-writing trip, Pete sat down with writer and producer Morgan Dorr to create the piano-heavy track. On its inception, Pete explains,Morgan had the first line of the chorus written when I got to his place, which was, “If you never see my face again” and the three chords that played over this. We worked on the song all day and I even cancelled another session that I had booked in just so I could finish this song as it felt like this had so much potential.” After returning to Australia, the pair worked together across continents to produce the song you hear today.

Alongside the single, the video will premiere on Pete Murray’s YouTube channel from 8:30am AEDT Friday, February 5. Fans can tune in and chat with Pete as they wait to see the exquisitely shot clip. Filmed and edited by regular collaborators Mos & Co, Pete explains,Because the song is powerful and quite epic, I wanted a clip that would enhance this. I didn’t want this to be a literal video but more of an abstract one, so that when you watch it, you are more taken away by the beautiful cinematic footage while still keeping mystery at the end. ” And the chemistry between the couple in the video is unmistakeable.  A genuine romance and moment in time captured beautifully, they are partners in real life and were married between shoot day

Recorded in his hometown of Byron Bay, THE NIGHT EP is inspired by his family and the life experiences that have gotten him to where he is today. It’s a poignant, introspective EP that highlights Pete’s iconic vocals and rich acoustic sound, and propels Pete further into the quintessential easy-listening sphere that he’s well-loved for. The EP is available for pre-order now and is set for release on March 5, delighting fans with an earlier release than originally scheduled.

With the earlier release date, Pete will be playing the new tracks, plus crowd favourites at the upcoming By The C Festival. For more dates and details on where you can hear him live, visit: https://petemurray.com/#shows
