My Dream Rider: ELI GREENEYES
Band intro – Eccentric and brash, Eli Greeneyes has today announced his deeply confessional new single 21, a chaotic yet content exploration into getting older and losing control.

Frontier Touring and Faith No More wish to advise that the band’s highly anticipated arena tour of Australia and New Zealand has been rescheduled to February 2022, due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and subsequent restrictions on international travel and venue capacities.
Both the band and Frontier thank fans for their understanding and patience regarding the latest news. Make no mistake: these arena shows will be epic and worth the wait! Melbourne band RVG – who released their incredible new album Feral in 2020 – remain special guest at all dates.

Faith No More is Mike Bordin (drums), Roddy Bottum (keys), Bill Gould (bass), Jon Hudson (guitar), and Mike Patton (vocals). They’ve released seven studio albums to date: We Care A Lot (1985), Introduce Yourself (1987), The Real Thing (1989), Angel Dust (1992), King For A Day… Fool For A Lifetime (1995), Album of the Year (1997) and Sol Invictus (2015).
Fans should hang onto their tickets – all original purchases are valid for entry at the rescheduled show dates and fans are encouraged to #KeepYourTicket. No action is required, just show up on the night with your existing ticket to gain entry.

Steel Panther’s Heavy Metal Rules Australian and New Zealand tour dates (with special guests Sevendust on the Australian dates) are now officially re-scheduled until October 2021! MJR Presents are bringing the Metal Mayhem down under later than expected, but better late than pregnant, ahem, never!
Don’t think of it as being let down by a lover, think of it as your lover extending, teasing and delaying your pleasure until you can take it no more and you crave their smooth, heavy-metal riff-laden touch and beg for more! That’s the kind of considerate lovers Steel Panther are. It’s not like they are out playing other shows and cheating on you, right? They Are? Oh.
October 2021 will FINALLY (!) see the wildest, wettest, dirtiest, hardest, heaviest most rocking heavy metal tour to hit Australian shores ever in the history of anything – EVER. MJR Presents are bringing Steel Panther to Australia once again for a Heavy Metal Party the likes of which have never been seen by human eyes and they are bringing none other than their US mates Sevendust along for the party! This tour STILL marks the largest venues that Steel Panther will have played in Australia due to growing demand every time they return down under.

The ‘HEAVY METAL RULES TOUR’ in October 2021 will drop anchor in New Zealand at Powerstation on Sunday October 24th, quickly get dressed and then dash across the ditch to meet up with Sevendust and double-team Australia – Tuesday 26th October at Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne, Thursday 28th October at Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Newcastle, Friday 29th October at Hordern Pavilion, Sydney and then for the final blow-out at Eaton’s Hill Hotel, Brisbane on
Saturday 30th October 2021 for a festival vibe session alongside (insert bands).
For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000 and is comprised of Michael Starr (lead singer), Satchel (guitarist), Lexxi Foxx (bass) and Stix Zadinia (drums). Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther has established themselves as the world’s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. Steel Panther is a global phenomenon with four full-length albums, touring across the world, platinum-level YouTube status and a #13 debut for the new album Heavy Metal Rules on the ARIA charts. Rolling Stone avowed, “There’s a reason Steel Panther have transcended their origins as a cover band playing the Sunset Strip,” while Metal Sucks declared, “Steel Panther’s concept is genius…their songwriting is…preposterously snappy – and relatable.”
Along for the ride are Sevendust, who were last here in 2019 on their tour celebrating the 2018 album ‘All I See is War’. While demonstrating their musical mastery accumulated over more than 25 years as a band and simultaneously destroying all expectations for their live show, Sevendust show no signs of slowing down. To this day, the connection between fans and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated gold-certified hard rock outfit only grows stronger. My Dream Rider: Bob Evans
ARIA-winning Bob Evans, the musical alter ego of Jebediah’s Kevin Mitchell for more than 20 years. Over five albums, Bob Evans has been the acoustic melody king, the folk/rock alternative whose songs include ‘Don’t You Think It’s Time’ and ‘Nowhere Without You’ has just released his latest single ‘Born Yesterday’, a nostalgic ode to yesteryear.
As I write this in the year I celebrate a quarter of a century in the music biz, I have come to learn…not very much at all. I have, however, experienced enough euphoric highs and crushing lows to be sure of one thing and that is, be grateful for your rider, any rider at all. These days I ask for very little and still end up not getting through it all and I hate waste, especially if it’s food that someone has made by hand. So I like to try and make a rider as economical as possible but for the purpose of this exercise, here are some ideas that pop into my head today for the ultimate rider.
1. 2 bottles of vintage Penfolds Grange. I’m a red wine drinker and I’ve drank lots of lovely wines over the years but never anything truly from the toppermost shelf, nothing retrieved from the darkest corner of a private cellar, dusted off and poured like liquid velvet into a glass for me to consume. Even when I found myself alone and in Canberra on my 40th birthday, I still only shelled out $40 bucks for a bottle as a present to myself.
2. A sommelier, or just some kind of wine expert, to guide me through my wine drinking experience, explain to me what I am drinking and answer my questions.
3. A plate of international cheeses and home made fruit pastes, to have with the wine.
4. A local historian who, between soundcheck and the show, as I sip on my wine and cheese, performs an entertaining 30-minute presentation, with slides, detailing the history of the area I am in that day, from its indigenous roots, through early colonial settlement right through industrialization and to modern times. They would have to stick around afterward to answer whatever questions I might have or area’s that I would like expanded on.
5. A live, compact bossa nova band, playing the best of 60’s Brazillian bossa nova music, set up in the corner, providing background music for pre and post-show festivities.
6. A wall of slushie machines, in case it’s a hot one, slushing up a wide variety of sugary flavors, ice-cold, that can be dispensed at mine and my guests’ leisure.
7. The best vodka there is, to add to the slushy if I feel so inclined, although why I would need top-shelf vodka for this remains a mystery to me.
8. Those slushies are full of calories, so we’re going to need some kind of all in one exercise machine, like one where you can walk or run or cycle or step. So much time is spent backstage sitting around, often after a long day of sitting in a van or a plane and I’m getting old. Sometimes hanging around backstage can be so boring, even exercise would be an attractive proposition.
9. Extra large TV screen and Foxtel for those winter months when the AFL is on so I may never miss a West Coast Eagles game.
10. A hacky sack, one made out of the finest Persian woven fabric of course. I wouldn’t need this for a Bob Evans gig but for a Jebediah one. If the Jebs are ever feeling a little sluggish before a show for whatever reason, (perhaps from overindulging in our rider ironically), we have found that a spirited game of hacky sack gets the blood pumping. It’s also a non-competitive, team-based exercise that has been known to foster an improved sense of camaraderie, perfect for taking out on to the stage.

For the 5th anniversary celebration of their breakthrough album Partum Vita Mortem, Melbourne melodic death metal act Orpheus Omega have decided to create a remixed and remastered version to be released as a double LP record!
The band states “We’d love to do the original album and artwork justice, so we have decided to go all out and design a triple gatefold version of the 2LP – same as the original CD – which would include all of the fantastic artwork masterfully designed by Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquility, Mitochondrial Sun). Plus, we have completely remixed and remastered the album to catch up with the sound of 2020 and ensure it is fantastic for vinyl listening with the help of our own Chris Themelco of Monolith Studio for the remix and Thomas “Plec” Johansson of The Panic Room in Sweden for the remaster. That’s correct, we’re going international for this to deliver the best sound possible!
