These guys make heaps of party bangers, but this song is my favourite off their recent mixtape. I love the sophisticated melody, you think it’s gonna go a certain way in the verses but it goes the other. Get real close to this one.
This is soo cushy, I reckon James’s Blake’s latest record is worth getting close to, it’s so from start to finish but ‘Mile High’ is a standout moment for sure.
Due to overwhelming demand a second Dean Lewis concert has been added in Melbourne for Saturday 18 May at The Forum. In additional exciting news for Dean’s younger fans, the show has also been confirmed as a licensed/all ages concert.

Matt recently took his fans behind the making of the Rainbow Valley album with the premiere of the Rainbow Valley Documentary on YouTube. Matt talked through the writing and recording process, the inspiration behind the album cover and the experience of the album coming together in an eleven minute behind the scenes video looking into his life and processes.
Performing all instruments and vocals on the triple j featured album Rainbow Valley, Corby has created a lush, multi-textured album sparked by hints of both old soul and futuristic psychedelia. Working with old friend and long-time collaborator Alex Henriksson, who is co-writer of two songs on the record, Corby retired to the idyllic surroundings of Byron Bay’s Music Farm studios with Telluric producer Dann Hume and engineer Matthew Neighbour.

One and a half weeks out from their event continue to not reveal what their High-Risk classifications means or how it is going to affect them or their operating budget
One week out from their event send them an email at 10pm on a Friday night to tell them they are no longer classified as a High-Risk event and that their original license approval has been reinstated.

Following up last years banger tune In This Moment, which saw support from international blogs triple j, Reside are releasing new single Replace Me the lead single from their upcoming EP ‘The Light That You Saw’; a project that comes to terms with the darkness in our lives and persists to find the light.
‘The Light That You Saw’ will be released on Friday, March 29 and to celebrate Reside will be hitting the road with dates in Wagga, Albury and Melbourne (TBA).
div class=””> Reside are currently learning with their latest soul-stirring single Replace Me the difficulties in trying to find acceptance after dealing with a loss, whether it’s the end of relationship, friend or family.
“Acceptance is often the hardest part of dealing with loss. Whether it’s the end of a relationship, loss of friend or family, the letting go and moving on is the scariest part. Leaving behind what was familiar and walking a path into total unknown,” said vocalist Liam Guinane.
With no holding back, the band jump right into the deep end of the harrowing unknown in Replace Me, exploring the themes of what it is to lose such a massive piece of your life, what to do next, to feel and how to keep moving forward.
“The track that deals these themes unforgivably. It’s a journey of starting at a point where sorrow and pain are almost to much to bare any longer to realising that while you might “feel like dying sometimes [you’ll] be alright,” said Guinane
For Guinane, the single marks a personal journey for him becoming a perfect summary of his story in loss, acceptance and finding himself again.
“Replace Me was one of the first songs we wrote for this upcoming EP and in a way sort of sums up my journey of how low I was 18 months ago to reaching a point where I felt more myself again,” said Guinane.
Reside know it’s no crime to find acceptance challenging and overwhelming and that’s it’s okay to not feel okay so, allow yourself to feel how you feel and begin finding ways to learn how to move on.
“It’s similar to that mantra “It’s okay not to be okay.” Accepting that you might feel shit now but you’ll get through it. There’s plenty of songs about heartbreak but I’m not sure any of them reach a point of positive conclusion,” said Guinane.
With the release of Replace Me, Reside will be heading out on tour in anticipation for their upcoming sophomore EP ‘The Light That You Saw’ set for release later this year.

EGOISM began when Scout Eastment and Olive Rush started catching the same bus together in high school. Their regular morning arguments about music became the catalyst for them eventually deciding to collaborate with each other.
Scout and Olive were soon learning how write songs and make music; constantly running melodies and lyrics past each other. They discovered that they had a shared love and a
philosophy on how music should be made while hoping their songs could one day be played live to people that wouldn’t hate it.
In 2015 Scout and Olive (who were still in high school) finally assembled a band. This resulted in an era of playing any inner west warehouse, shop front or house party they could sneak their friends into. All the while they were steadily
dropping home-recorded singles online.
Come 2016 the band had finally come of age and was ready to properly join the local band scene.
Since then EGOISM have steadily gained a reputation supporting bands such as Last Dinosaurs, I Know Leopard and
Phantastic Ferniture.
In 2018 Scout and Olive commenced writing and recording tracks for the forthcoming 2n d EP, resulting in ‘Sorry’ – a driving dream pop anthem full of twinkling guitars and bittersweet harmonies coming together to project a strong
anti-gaslighting message. It landed the duo their first couple of plays on triple J as well as high rotation on fbi radio and triple j unearthed. Not to mention a decent 26,000 spins on Spotify!
Now they are ready to present their follow up single, ‘Enemies’. In true DIY fashion the track was recorded almost entirely in a single bedroom. It’s pure glittery guitar pop slathered in reverb and served up with the effortlessly captivating lead
vocals of Scout and irresistibly complimenting harmonies of Olive.
Interestingly, from a lyrical perspective, ‘Enemies’ appears to be about communication and the important supporting role it
plays in a friendship when overcoming inner struggles.
‘’So Enemies is really just about mental health and how it can affect the people you love. We’re both people that have never had anyone we’d describe as an “enemy”; I think we’re both too busy criticising ourselves and worrying about what the hell we’re doing with our lives. But when it gets to the point that those thoughts are driving us away from each other, it ends up feeling like the real enemy is inside you. So this song is about desperately communicating all those thoughts to each other’’

Delivering what can only be described as cement-punk with forward thinking lyrics, Concrete Surfers land a 360 today with new single ‘My Life On Repeat’ plus the announcement of a forthcoming EP and East Coast live dates.
Grappling with “being stuck in a routine – and becoming unsure of what direction to take moving forward in life,” ‘My Life on Repeat’ is an explosion of fuzz and frenetic fretwork.

LouSkylaris the fortuitous connection of Jessica Frizziero and Nathan Batham.
